nope..your kidneys don't touch alcohol. That goes straight to the liver for processing.

The cranberry juice mentioned above is the only real help , as to the beer well if you drink lots of both you will pass ou and not fell the pain for a time and change the urine to a more acidic nature helping dissolve the kidney stone. you will also have a heck of a hang over,. I hate to think of the combination of hangover kidney stone , but you can try it and tell us how it felt/worked.

My husband had a lot of kidney stone problems and he used to drink a lot of Cranberry juice. He got a home remedy from a very old man that sounded really far fetched ,but was having so many problems that he decided to try it:
Take egg shells and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake them at about 350 for about 20-30 minutes.
Crush them up till there very fine. Place these in a
jar add sugar about half and half.
Take a Tablespoon full every day.
I know this sounds bad but it actually works. He never had another problem after taking this..Of course when taking this
he would drink a lot of liquid to help wash it down..I don't know how it works but my husband figured he had nothing to lose if it didn't work.......Good Luck

Beer WILL help you pass the kidney stone (as it is a diuretic) but not the pain. However, this isn't an excuse to go get plastered. It's best to only have 1 cup or so every 8 hours or so and stay hydrated.

No and No. Beer might be part of your problem. Kidney stones generally form because you have kept yourself in a dehydrated state and all of the toxins that go through your kidney start to crystalize, hello kidney stone. You need to go to a doctor so they can give you the necessary meds to pass that thing before it causes a blockage.
