I recently had to go to my dentist as my gums were in a bit of a mess,he gave me anti-biotics and mouthwash, which i finished. But now after getting a filling my gums are sore and bleeding again and i think i may have an absess where the filling is,could my dentist be causing the infections?I cant think of any other explanation as i always brush my teeth properly.

I have looked up the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, but this is not it! it's basically stomach blowing up a bit after eating meals, n some uncomfortable feeling as if u need to "pooh" to feel normal again..this is different than irritable bowel syndrome in that u do not continuesly feel as if u need to use the bath room, it's just an uncomfortable feeling, after eating meals that prevents an individual from getting up n going around as s/he would normally would. The symptoms go away after about 2 to 3 hours after the meal has been eaten.

My brain hurts and I'm beginning to get worried. I don't know if it might just be another headache...because it's never happened to me since it started.

For the past few days, the upper right back part of my brain has been "hurting" (brains have no sensitivity, I read?). It happens a like 10+ times a day (actually I don't count) and lasts for a split second...stingy-ish. And during that time, when I turn my head really fast, I find that it either starts hurting again or I feel as if it's gonna come...

for as long as i can remember i've had involuntary twitching in my arms, legs, fingers, toes, wrists and ankles but i never thought much of it. lately i've been experiencing twitching in my head and neck with varying intensity, as if i'm nodding "yes" and "no" along with a burning sensation under my scalp. what can i do to alleviate the twitching? it's really becoming quite annoying. i have a dr appointment next week.

We have recently found that this runs in our family. Close and extended. I had the test and I am a carrier. Can anyone tell me what this means. Can I develop it. My both parents have tested negative for it, so it skipped a generation. My 2nd cousins suffer badly from it having to have blood taken. I am not able to take iron supplements. Even during my pregnancy the supplements even in low doses made me ill. Would this be because I am a carrier? And what are the chances of my children getting it. Will they have it or be carriers? Thanks

I have a very sweet friend who is 18 yrs old. Since last 3 months, there is some problem with her blood. According to doctors her body is not generating enough platelets to survive. According to last weeks report her body has just 20,000 platelets and doctor said a healthy human body should have around 2,30,000 platelets. I don't know much about medical but this thing seems really dangerous.

I don't want to loose my friends, please let me know the best way so that she could get in to best situation possible. In general, she is normal, i mean she eats well, loooks healthy... but i m worried.

We are in India, plz suggest me some good medicine... I beg you, i really don't want to loose a precious friend like her...

Plz help me, tell me the good way in general how her body can start generating enough blood platelets to live. We are ready to spend whatever money for good treatement.

Mail me at mohitmadaan@gmail.com

Thank you in advance.

My BF is an alcoholic. He admits to it. The good part (if you can call it that) he always drinks at home, NEVER drives, holds a good job, is an excellent employee and is the sweetest man ever when he's sober.
The bad part is having to watch him self destruct, ruin his health, we can never go anywhere at night because he is drunk and sometimes when he's drunk he starts fights that turn into MAJOR battles.
I know that it's the alcohol that makes him act this way, but at times I really can't deal with it.

I know they have groups for alocoholics, but does anyone know of a group to help me deal with an alcoholic BF?

Diagnosed with MS 13 yr. ago. Nearly blind now, permanent numbness in left arm. I saw a podiatrist for swelling (egg size) on top of foot, x-rays show joints have fused in that area and by big toe. Right foot is fine, right side of body is fine. Unsure of whether I should continue with podiatrist.
