I know this teenages (18) who lives in korea and i have been talking to him for a while..He mentioned to me that he has a illness ( or an illness that effects him mentally). He said that the illness causes him to pay attantion to things we usually wouldn’t pay any attantion too...for example when we breathe...we breathe without thinking about it...but he cant do that...he said that he needs to recognize when to take a breathe and when to release it...he said he is having a problem with his every action in a mental way. He also said that the condition effects his whole nervous system.
He has seen many doctors in Korea and none seem to know what the problem is exactly.
If anyone can help this would be greatly appreciatd as i want to help him very much...if you have any ideas or any way to help please give me some information or tell me what you know or think the problem may be...
Thankyou very much

About 19 years ago I was taken to surgery to have it removed and they gave me the large incision that you use to have before the laparoscopic surgery was in use. But, when they went in they found that it was my appendix causing the trouble and left my gall bladder in. Since the last 10 years I have had trouble with stones and attacks. A doctor told me that I couldn't have it done laparoscopic because of the scar tissue and another one told me I could. I haven't seen the surgeon yet. Does anyone out there know if I can or can't have it done laparoscopically or not.

Serious answers only please.
I have come to grips that I need to seek help for my drug addiction. I am scared to go to my first meeting and I would really appreciate any information on what I can expect when I walk through that door. Will I have to talk to people or can I just observe? Can I talk when I am ready or do I have to talk to the group? I'm very nervous,....if you can't tell.

I woke up this morning with severe chest pain (i get it time to time, usually stressed related, i believe). About 2 days ago I did go thru something stressful & have been worrying about that. I feel like someone is sitting on my chest & have severe pain kinda between my beast bone (where my hernia is). Its a gripping pain & i'm a little worried. I have also been experiencing some numbness & pain in my left side & arm. I just dont know what to do.. Not sure if is just anxiety, my hernia, or something even more serious. I know going to the doctor is the obvious answer.. But has anyone else experience this or something related?? Thanks for any help!

About 10 years ago when I was 23, I suddenly went blind in one eye. I was in the hospital for three days on solumedrol, then prednisone when I came home. My sight only partially returned. The doc said I was a prime candidate for MS. Since then, my MRIs have shown several spots on the brain. But the docs say they're nothing. I have tremors sometimes, and have difficulty walking down steps. My arm seized up at work once, but the doc said it wasn't MS.

I know MS is difficult to diagnose. Right now I have no insurance. I hate to ask, but does anyone out there who has it give me some enlightenment on what to watch for?

Thanks all.

My best friend of two years has always had horrible migraines and has been on some sort of medicine. Recently, (about two months ago) her mom took her off her medicine. She also has a father who has bipolar disorder.
Yesterday, she was laughing hysterically (over something not that funny) and was doubled over laughing and I went to grab her and she flipped up and around right as i put my hand down and I guess my nail must have scratched her (I didnt feel a thing) but she started FREAKING out at me, cussing me out and calling me a ***** and things in the middle of our English class. I clearly had no clue what was going on and as she was insulting me I got mad and we had a fight.
Later I tried to make amends and she insisted on freaking out AGAIN, cussing me out again and actually slammed a locker on my hand.
My BEST friend of almost two years, and we have never fought like that before. She just suddenly snapped. I want to know if it could be bipolar disorder. This behavior scares me.
