I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you have someone you can talk to because grieving alone is very hard.

You should seek a group of people who are going through the same thing, grieving. You will be able to talk through your feelings.

People who have not lost someone close find it too difficult to listen; I've been there. Peace be with you and your family.

As a former ER worker, there are some questions I would like you to address.

#1. How old was your mother.
#2. Why was the surgery needed. What reason did the doctor give you?
#3. If she had an aneurysm, there is not much anyone could do. An aneurysm will break and it is like your aorta bursts. Hardly anything can be done. But if the diagnosis was for a tumor, for example, there could have been a little time until surgery and better outcome.

If you have any questions, you can request your mother's medical records. They have to give them to you. IF you have any questions, again, consult an attorney.

I lost my mom in April of this year, and my sympathy goes out to you. We did not want any extraordinary measures, such as a surgery, due to her great age. So sorry for you.

My mother recently died, but she didn't die suddenly, but too soon.

Just know that she's no longer in pain and that it's a part of life's journey. No matter how we all pass, it's a part of life.
