You can't make him stop unless he wants to. He has to admit he has a problem and want to quit before he will.

OK, 2 things, FIRST and most importantly, alcohol can cause lack of judgement, but ultimately, he is choosing to sleep with a lot of girls. SECOND, the best you can do to help is let him know how much his drinking hurts you. Maybe talk to his parents and let them know. AA is a good place for people to connect and help each other with alcoholism, but he may need to be detoxed first. If he doesn't get detoxed, he may seizure and possibly die if he is a daily drinker. You can go to a group called AL ANON, and it can help you to deal with his drinking, and teach you how to help in good ways. (If he becomes dependent on you, and you let him, it won't be a good thing) Good luck. THere is A LOT!!! and I mean a lot of help out there. Wishing you love, happiness, and above all, hope. J

No, alcohol has nothing to do with someone sleeping around. The problem is HIM. He gets drunk and then goes out and sleeps around. He's a cheater and if this is your boyfriend, you need to drop him like a bad habit.
If he really wants to stop drinking, he needs to get himself into a rehab.

Try Al Anon for you. It will help you to deal with his alcoholism but not to do things that he will use as an excuse to drink (and blame it on you). Good luck.

you can be supportive.. but only he can make the decision to get clean. Alcoholics do all kinds of things they wouldnt do if they were sober... that can include sleeping around. have him get in touch with the local AA chapter in your area, they have groups for all kinds of people, men, women, teens, gays, etc...

send him to AA and you go th Alanon. quick. If he is sleeping around it is probably because he is making poor decisions, perhaps somewhat due to the alcoholism, you can't be sure til he sobers up. Even if he won't go to AA you should go to Alanon.

alcohol triggers the manicoti enzyme that causes a man to uncontollably sleep with any women in his path. Its not his fault it is just that he was drunk so that makes it ok, is that what you want to hear?
