They can have a problem with diseases caused by Vitamin D deficiency - especially if they are muslims who cover their bodies because Vit D is absorbed through sunlight and as you know we don't get an awful lot of sun in this country. So if you're all covered up you won't get enough.

Pregnant women who are muslims and wear a burka (ie the full covering) are advised to take Vit D supplements in pregnancy to prevent a deficiency which could harm the baby.

There are diseases which are more prevalent in certain races (thats not racism, just medical FACT), but I'm not sure if they are affected by living in Britain or not.

Thallassemia is one which can affect asian people - its not really found in white Europeans.

As the point made earlier asian children are prone to Anemia.

What the hell kind of a question is that? You're talking like Asian children aren't human beings like European or African children living in Britain! So now even diseases differ from race to race within the same country? What are you like? Pathetic!

Asian people have a higher incidence of Hepatitis B. They should be tested.

i think aneamia (specially girls) due to chilli foods and stuff. its the diet of spicy foods that is sometimes more harmful than good and the chilli creates acidity and therefore it eats away at bones too so calcium i would say and iron.

I think they can be prone to Rickets. This I think is due to the lack of sunlight they are usualy used to.
