only serious answers PLEASE. My dear friend 68 yrs old suffered a hemmoridge to the left side of her brain 2 weeks ago,she is paralyised on the right side(no movement/no response) She semi smiles and nods when you talk loud and ask questions. The docs say little to no hope of recovery, the nurses point towards positive and negative, her husband can't let go yet, but the docs say morphine and comfort until life takes its course. I can't make the decision. I KNOW THAT, but she would not want to live this way or have her husband live like this in the hospital every day & night. My family is supportive, but loosing patience. Where can I get TRUE facts and help her husband do the right thing(what the docs suggest) Too much info and too many opinions are clouding the issue at hand. She has suffered infections, pneumonia, another stroke, respitory distress, cannot swallow on her own and clots in her legs sinces 2 weeks ago. Any one with advise or same stories would really be helpful right now
