No. If they're thin, they should not be dieting, certainly not starving themselves. Then they are sick - in the head.

I dieted for about two years, lost 125 pounds, most of it in the first 10 months. You mostly miss people, because you can't stay at the table or be at the table. Then you think a lot about food. Your body wants, needs food, so you distract yourself any way you can.

I was down to 800 calories a day, fasting one day a week, walking/running for an hour every day. And I still hit a plateau, but you feel good about how you look and you feel better, so you keep going.

This was a few years back, and after ten years or so, it started coming back on, and now the body just refuses to go into that tough mode.

They are dizzy, sick in the stomach and weak, plus a whole lot more. They typically suffer from depression because they are not getting enough nutrients to make proper amounts of healthy neurotransmitters, they often have low self esteem and and unrealistic view of themselves and the world. There are a whole lot of physical side affects to anorexia. Do some online research on it and you will be amazed what you find.

you'll in basic terms have well being subject matters(low calcium/iron/diet ec.. it could be something) . someone is assume to devour 3 situations an afternoon or 2(fairly breakfast..they in a lot of situations say someone who eats breakfast is more effective in all chance to be thinner than someone who doesn't..that is been shown too). i do not recommend it in a recommend way, yet have you ever tried going to a nutritionist or a Dietitian? If no, then provide it a shot(he she will be able to allow you to comprehend what you mustn't devour..that are the failings that makes you fat and what might want to you devour...the kinds of nutrients that gives you nutrients).in case you stay interior us of a it really is more effective recommended to confirm a Dietitian then a nutritionist. Oh and do not sleep straight away after eating (look ahead to 2 to three hrs), that way your nutrients would digest genuinely. best of luck.

When you go the gym and work out, it hurts right? It hurts them to starve but they are trying to look good also. And that determination and poor self esteen gives them the energy to overcome whatever dizzyness or aches and pains it causes. And the sad this is that they will never be skinny enough - if their minds.

I'd say both. It's a lot more complex, and hard to explain (as most of them will tell you) but mostly because at that point, their own sense of judgement is clouded and they can't think straight. It's like being in a perpetual alcohol haze without the alcohol.

As someone who has dated an anorexic, I had a really hard time understanding it. Anorexia is a disease. Your self image is so messed up, all you see is your need to be thinner. The pain and hunger just mean you are doing what you need to do.

It's usually a control issue. They know they're too thin, because they try to hide it. It's just more imortant for them to be able to think they are in control.
