I was curious to know if there have been studies done tying Parkinsons Disease and RLS together? Is it possible for a person who has RLS to get Parkinson's later on in life? Thank you for whatever information you can give me. I don't have Parkinson's but I do have RLS, especially at night when I am trying to sleep. I also have sleep apnea and rapid eye movements. This was all diagnosed at the Sleep Lab years ago. Please, God, help people who have Parkinson's Disease.

My best friend's mom is in the hospital and probably will be for a while. I'm trying to think of a gift package I can send with some things to kep her mind busy. (She hates TV... and she sits in silence most of the day.) I've thought about word search books, small craft projects, magazines and books. Any other ideas to cheer her up and occupy her time? THANKS!

I'm sure that will get attention I didn't mean,
anyway, my gland on my jaw is really swollen. Doctor over the phone didn't think it was mumps.
I look like I've been socked in the jaw. Or the elephant man. Any ideas?

If yes, how long will you see the result. And how will you control the odor that goes out of the mouth because of its pungent smell.

It looks like I may need a disc in my neck replaced or fused (C5, C6).
Has anyone had either procedure?
Either one better than the other?
What was the final cost? (We have 90/10 insurance, than goodness.)

Thanks!!

My fiance' and I were fighting the other day. She says I never listen and don't care about her. So to prove that I do, I took her to her pediatrist's appointment. She said she had some problem with her toe that she needed him to examine. Well, I offered to go back with her, but there was a cool program on the tv in the waiting room, and a good gun magazine so she said I could wait in the waiting room for her.
A little over TWO hours later she comes out and says the doctor took care of it, and he said her cameltoe was fine. I told her for that kind of money I could have told her her feet were fine. She's got cute little feet. My last girlfriend had a hammertoe and that was nasty.
But I think he's ripping us off. Her feet look fine to me, so either he's a good doctor and took care of her cameltoe or he's making stuff up and charging us an arm and a leg for it.

Please help quick. She's got another appointment next week.

I once knew a girl who had a very rare disease. As I was told, and from what I remember, it was called GAP Syndrome and it was kind of a combination of 5 or so other diseases. She was bald, and also didn't have teeth. She had large knots on the back of her neck and scalp. I was told that only about 20 people in the world had the disease, and that nearly all that ever had it only lived to be 8 or 9 years old. I was alos told that she was written about in medical journals and magazines because at the time she was about 15, so this was miraculous. She is now about 30, but I don't know her to ask what the disease is. Anyone know where I might find information?
