I suffer from anorexia nervosa. Very rarely am I hungry. Eating even a little is a good step in the right direction. Bulimia is very different. I will cause teeth decay and destroy the esophagus

anorexic's do eat, just not enough to sustain a healthy body. If you didnt eat anything you would die very quickly
Bulimics binge and purge or they eat a lot in short time and then throw it up. Unless an anorexic pinge purges she is just an anorexic and not a bulimic.

Yes, anorexics do get hungry but the whole thing with anorexia is that if you manage to fight the hunger and the urge to eat that you have one that particular battle and that you are in control.

The definition of Bulimia is "a mental illness in which someone eats uncontrollably and in large amounts, then vomits to remove the food from their body".
Therefore, someone who only eats a small amount, would not be bulimic.
In my limited experience of anorexia, they do feel hunger, but they warp it into something positive - it is a good feeling, it means you are suceeding.

Anorexics are always hungry, they just have this control factor.
I never understood it, because I would always consider them bulimics, because they eat SOMETHING but, I don't think they puke it up.

Bulemia involves eating massive quantities of food and the ndeliberately vomiting.
I dont think they recognise hunger or they feel it all the time and get used to it, like it even.

To be bulimic you have to binge and purge ( eat a lot then throw it back up )!

at the biginning yes but later they get used to having an empty stomach even if they try to eat they just can't and yes is they finally get to eat even a pea they vomit.

yes anorexics do feel hunger pangs, however as soon as they try to eat, their throat seems to seize up and they fell sick
