Flies are attracted to decaying flesh, they lay their eggs on the flesh which then hatch into maggots.

It doesn't turn into maggots. Flies lay thier eggs on your rotting flesh and when the eggs hatch they turn into maggots. This helps your body to decay and to feed the flies.

your flesh doesn't turn to maggots, they smell the flesh and feed on it. Sometimes flies will seek out flesh or other rotting substances and lay their eggs there so when their babies hatch (maggots) they have food to eat. They then turn into flies

Maggots come from flies, they lay their eggs and the eggs turn into maggots.

So maggots are fly larva.

So unless your body is exposed to flies before you get buried it is unlikely that maggots will be there.

Hope this helps. :-)

Doesn't turn into maggots. Since you aren't alive, your body decomposes, and flies and other bugs find a decomposing body ideal for laying eggs, since there are valuable nutrients to feed the larva. Sorry this sounds gross, but that's an explanation to the best of my ability.

...and one reason why be best to be burnt to bits...

Apparently some people want to be buried with their mobile incase of being buried alive. However, what if...
a) the phone is at the other end of the coffin and no room to turn around?
b) the battery is flat
c) no signal
d) contract terminated due to being deceased?
e) you are dead, so why would you want it anyway? Snake?

Oh the maggots thing...
Yeah, they come from flies. Imagine being eaten alive...

P.S. Sorry this sounds gross, but that's an explanation to the best of MY ability.
