My son looks like he's just showing signs of chicken pox as we've got the first sight of some red spots today. His cousin, got it, and they spent time together 12 days ago (just before she came out in spots). Is he contagious now? Should we avoid contact with others? We're on holiday so I'm wondering whether we should avoid the pool or anyone..! And - if we need to avoid people - for how long?

My understanding is that HIV virus is too big to penetrate the skin in many parts of human body except mucus and some other membranes get into blood. I also read that HIV can penetrate easily through tears or lacerations in the skin or covering of an organ.

If so, can one prepare the following beverage and administer it to a human being as an act of revenge or other evil intent? If the answer is yes, how can the forensics prove that evil act t o enforce the law?

The beverage consists of an ingradient that will cause ulcers in the stomach, such as strong coffee mixed with alcohol. It may also contain something that tears up the walls of the intestines such as a fine ground silica or glass. Both of the above will create an opening for the HIV virus to penetrate. Then of course it will contain HIV virus or infected blood or serum. It may also contain HSV-2 virus to facilitate HIV virus damage the immune system more readily.

My daughter has been home for some time, and I have taken her to many doctors. One says its Manonucleosis, another says its a viral infection, and yet another says she will be fine and to just take her home. But that high Red blood cell scares me a bit. What could be wrong?

My daughter has strep and last night she had a strange nightmare. She looked awake but she was talking out of her head. She was walking around the house turning on the lights and talking about killing dinosaurs. After it was over she became very upset and was crying. Today she says she doesn't remember much about it. Was this because of her fever or from the strep? The same thing happened about 2yrs ago when she had strep and the doctor said it was just a bad dream. I'm very confused please help.
