Third world countries have street pedicures . They file and trim well and coat with nail polish to protect the nail from the shoe fungus. You can do someones toes if they do yours.

Coat your nails twice daily with oil of oregano after washing them thoroughly with soap and water.Oil of oregano is available in most health food stores.

keep nails trim and clean, expose to light as much as possible
Try wash with Betadine cleanser (from you pharmacist) and spray with Bactine, several times a day
