You used the word partner, so I'm assuming that you've already had sex. It's going to scare her to death, she'll probably think she's already got it. The best time to tell your partner is before anything happens that way it's out in the open. It sounds like it's to late for that, so definitly tell her, she deserves to know. If she leaves then you'll have to chalk that one up to experience and learn from your mistakes. Be honest, otherwise, the relationship isn't worth it anyway.

Always be honest with your partner plain and simple. To many STD's are tranmitted simply because people can't be honest with their partner. Do you lover her? Yes, of course you do. Do you want her to get herpes? No, I didn't think so. Now go do the right thing and tell her.

I guess it depends on when you contracted the virus. If you had it and knew about it and are just deciding now that you should tell her then I am sure she will be livid. And if you cheated on her and that's how you got it then again, she's going to be livid. If you didn't know that you had it and didn't get it by cheating on her and weren't knowingly infecting her then just sit her down and explain what's going on. If you have been upstanding in your relationship and have earned her trust then you should be ok. If you have been cheating or just knowingly infecting her with no reguards to her safety then all I can say to that is you made your bed and you have to lie in it and if it's messy then that's entirely your own fault.

If your partner loves you, she/he will love you for what you are and she/he will stay. Honesty is good for relationship. Your partner will know eventually and it will make things worst between the two of you.

Good luck!!

Well, you have to tell her anyway, even if you're not planning to have sexual relations, and if u already have then, YOU GOTTA TELL HER IMMEDIATELY!!!. Then, she should decide if she leaves you or not.
