I was dianogised with gestasional diabetes when I was pregnant with my son 4 years ago. And now I have adult diabetes type 2 and I haven't been paying close attention to it, until just recently. I have started getting weaker no energy and tonight I have noticed both of my toe nails on my big toe are coming off. Is this part of it too?

Hey all, just wondering if there are any home diagnostic kits to test for diabetes. I'm not sure if I have diabetes but it runs on one side of the family. I just recently graduated from college so since I'm off my student insurance plan now, I don't want to go running to my doctor for everything. If there are, any recommendations? Thanks!

Does anybody know the formula used to caluclate how much long acting insulin to give? There is an actual formula that doctors use to calculate how much insulin to give based on weight and other things. Anybody know it?

I've been tested for diabetes twice and was negative. I take medication, but I just can't seem to quench it. I also have vaginal itching with this. No, I don't have an infection. What to do?

lost a kidney, dvt, many surgeries, septic from port, i've been out now for a couple of yrs and have put on alot of wt. When I try to exercise or walk very far, I break out in hives over my whole body-it feels like I'm covered with fire ants bitting. Very intence and very miserable! It goes away after about 20-30 min. Has anyone ever experienced this? My doctors are baffled and don't know what to do!
