Type 1 diabetes means your pancreas doesn't produce any insulin so that means you're always be on insulin for the rest of your life. Unless the doctor's made a mistake and your Type 2 instead of Type1. Type 2 means that your pancreas does produces insulin but not enough. Type 2 can be control by diet or using pills or sometimes insulin. Talk to your Doctor or get a second opinon! Take Care and Good Luck!

KINDLY NOTE THE FOLLOWING
Type 1 Diabetes
In type 1 diabetes, the disease process is more severe than with type 2, and onset is usually in childhood:
Beta cells in the pancreas that produce insulin are gradually destroyed. Eventually insulin deficiency is absolute.
Without insulin to move glucose into cells, blood glucose levels become excessively high, a condition known as hyperglycemia.
Because the body cannot utilize the sugar, it spills over into the urine and is lost.
Weakness, weight loss, and excessive hunger and thirst are among the consequences of this "starvation in the midst of plenty."
Patients become dependent on administered insulin for survival.
CONSIDERING THE ABOVE IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO OVERCOME DIABETES TYPE 1 WITHOUT INSULIN

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

You can't overcome type I diabetes entirely without insulin.
Watching your diet and consuming complex carbohydrates is a start and so too is exercise.
I saw something on TV last year about a Dr. Cortez in Mexico that has come up with a transplant idea. It will be some time before it will be available in humans.

Type I diabetes cannot be controlled without insulin! The pancreas is producing either no insulin in response to the foods you are eating or is producing abnormal amounts in response. Type II can be controlled with diet, exercise and in some conditions with oral hypoglycemics. Type I is often referred to as "Juvenile Diabetes" and is the most serious form. Patients with Type I are the candidates for pancreatic transplant, not Type II (often associated with excessive carbohydrate ingestion) Unfortuanetly, Type I diabetics are the "brittle" ones as their pancreatic function is eratic, thereby needing frequent blood sugar checks and often frequent SQ injections to control their blood sugars in combination with food selections limiting their carbohydrate intake.

You can't. You need the external insulin, as your body can't produce any. It's either take your insulin shots, or else you might actually die, not before you suffer from other disabilities like eye damage or nerve damage.
either that or you can try pancreas transplant, but as with any organ donation surgery, you'll be on immunosupressant drugs for life.
It's not Type II diabetes.

You need to take insulin period if you have type 1Diabetes. With type1, your body doesn't produce insulin so you need to get insulin from an external source. Proper diet and exercise can help control your blood sugar but you need insulin to utilize those sugar into your cells and make use of it.
