Umm... it can be. When I was younger (before I found out I was allergic to milk, and before I went on an insulin pump), I used to drink a cup of low fat milk before bed to keep my blood sugars up during the night. Skim milk is also a good treatment for low blood sugars.

protein raises your blood sugar slowly. as apposed to juice where your levels will go up then drop suddenly. that is why a high protein diet is best for us sweet people!!!
