A fasting blood glucose should be 70-99 milligrams per deciliter so yours is a bit high.

Gee...I wish I was that under control...it depends, though....
Are you classified as diabetic? If not, then that reading is moderately high. But you really need an average of your fasting sugars.
You may now buy your own A1c blood test at the pharmacy and get your own average readings, usually cheaper than a doctor and lab visit. I recommend this.
I am a Type II diabetic and on two oral medications and diet monitoring to control my blood glucose levels.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Blood glucose Fasting blood glucose:
70–99 milligrams per deciliter or less than 5.5 mmol/L
2 hours after eating (postprandial):
70–145 mg/dL (less than 7.9 mmol/L)
Random (casual):
70–125 mg/dL (less than 7.0 mmol/L)
Normal results may vary from lab to lab. Many conditions can change your blood glucose levels. Your health professional will discuss any significant abnormal results with you in relation to your symptoms and medical history.

The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) recommends the following general blood glucose testing goals for adults with type 1 and type 2 diabetes:
Preprandial* (fasting, or before a meal) - <110 mg/dl (6.1 mmol/l)
Two hours postprandial (after the start of a meal) - <140 mg/dl (7.8 mmol/l)
A1c (three month blood glucose average) – 6.5% or lower
The American Diabetes Association (ADA) suggests slightly different targets:
Preprandial* – 90-130 mg/dl (5.0-7.2 mmol/l)
Postprandial* (1-2 hours) - <180 mg/dl (<10.0 mmol/l)
A1c (three month blood glucose average) – 7.0% or lower
These goals aren’t for everyone, and your personal testing targets may run higher or lower. Your diabetes care team will work with you to determine self-testing blood glucose goals based on your individual medical history and lifestyle requirements.
*Note: Measurements are for blood plasma; whole blood values would be approximately 15% lower.
(it depends upon the person as neither myself nor my son fall into the "normal" ranges of testing. With close mentoring and a trustworthy Diabetic educator you can find the target that will work best for you)
Blessings and good luck!

Maybe just a touch? My husband is diabetic and his doctor wants his morning blood sugar (which would be the closest to compare to fasting) to remain between 80 and 120.
