It can get dangerous. You can pass out, or start feeling very weak suddenly. You know by now that you have to be on a special diet, so you'll need to follow it. If you don't, it can lead to problems later on in life.....like having a leg amputated. It's very important that you eat the right stuff everyday, and the times that you've been told, and you take the right amount of insulin. Eventually, I hope that you can get a pancreas transplant where you won't have to take the shots anymore and you could eat anything you want. Best of luck to you.

if u didnt take ur insulin shots you'll start to feel ill breathless needing to pass out more urine and you feel thirsty you can even end up in hospital which is bad when u are going through these symptoms check ur blood sugar because 9out of 10 ur sugar will be high , if they are high u should check for ketones.
If u miss one day of insulin shot you wont be bothered in future to do the rest

im 14 diagnosed last year, and im guessing (since u r still on daily shots)(and this question) that u have been recently diagnosed. ne wayys. u would have a high, minor or major depending on how u eat ant excersize. but dont skip a shot, no one can tell what really will happen, but i personally dont like hospital food.

o ya if u dont like shots, do some research on INSULIN PUMPS.

Well, first of all, your parents should be monitoring this. However, if you didn't take your insulin for one day, you would probably sweat a lot, be all itchy, go through some insane mood swings and basically be miserable until you took your insulin.
Still interested?

It depends on what insulin shot you skipped. If you skipped long active insulin, like lantus, you would go high, and probably get ketones. If you skipped your short acting insulin, like humolog or novolog or reguar, you would go high, but probably not have ketones. if you skipped both, you would be endanger of DKA, which is NOT FUN!!! (Trust me). Your blood sugar would go through the roof, you would probably start to feel sick to your stumach, you'd have to pee, be really thirsty, kinda tired, and feel shitty.
Basically, I wouldn't recommend skipping any of them, but if you have to skip, skip the short acting 'cause its easier to fix, and is slightly less dangerious.

Your blood sugar could rise and you could go into diabetic coma.
As a result of the coma, you could easily die or become permanently disabled..
.So please check your glucose levels, and take your insulin as your doctor has ordered.
Your diabetic condition effects your entire body, skin, eyes, kidneys and other important organs. If you develop skins problems notify your doctor immediately...

that wouldnt be too good, though i'm pretty sure it wouldnt kill you. your best off staying consistent but if it already happened ask your doctor in case you need to adjust your dosage or something.

your sugar would go through wild swings, either being really high or low...don't do it because it would put your health a serious risk.
