My father gave up smoking fags 15 years before finding out that they had totally queered up his lungs and the cancer had spread to his brain.

Also, Roy Castle was totally queered up by fags in the clubs he used to play in. He died of passive smoking.

I noticed that the gland under my jaw-bone on the right side has swollen up considerably. One of my friends said it may be a sign of lymphnoma cancer.

anyone else on medicaid and have that problem? i take 30mg. morphine 3 x a day. and supose to take 2..10 mg of percocet every 4 hours but medicaid only pays for 62 pills a month. does anyone know of another pain med. which would be equal to percocet that medicaid would pay for? and when i do take both morphine and percocet it don't get rid of all my pain...just makes me a little more comphy. i have IDC breast cancer that has spread to bones, liver, and lungs. and i have medicaid....not medicare. i haven't worked long enough to get medicare. which i think they would pay for the meds i need. thanks...

This left him nearly impotent. In these 3 years we have mostly adjusted to not having sex as it is difficult and alot of the time unsucessful even with the new drugs. It is ok with me most of the time. But if anyone else is living with this in their marriage I would like to hear from you.

I have noticed a small bump on my epididymis. I know it is a bump because it is distinctly different from the other testicle. I am a 25 y old male. Thing is that i have been having symptoms for approx a year and a half. Including testicular pain, a dull but persistent back ache that is there when i got to bed and when i wake up, along with some urinary symptoms. I have woke up in a night sweat once during all of this. Could it be that 3 doctors missed this bump and it could be causing all these symptoms. None of them did testicular exams but i did have a CT of abdomen, ultrasound of abodmen. Would any of these detect this lump. Also if this was cancer and it was causing back pain chances are it would show up on a blood test?? Thanks

My wife has to give blood for testing once a week to help the doctors determine how strong the chemo to put in her iv. Is there a specific test that shows if the tumor is shrinking? I know about the white and red cell count, but is there a "cancer" test? She has squamous cell of the lung, stage 2. No spreading of the cancer anywhere else, thank God.

It metastasized to her brain, but they shrunk the tumors with radiation. What I want to know is, is it possible to have cancer in your lymph nodes and not anywhere else? They have looked EVERYWHERE for the origin of the cancer, but cannot find it,

I just found out my grandfather has stage 4 lung cancer and he starts chemo this week. (my grandfather on my dads side) and in 2005 my grandmother on my moms side died of lung cancer. My question is even though i know it was partly caused by there smoking is it genetic. I dont smoke but my aunts and uncle mother and father and brother do and I am worried they may be more seseptible because of the history.
