i have had mid back pain for about 3 months whenever i bend sideways i get pain near my ribs and right in my mid back . When i bend a certain way with intensity i hear grinding , crunching , popping sounds . I am a 26 year old male who has gained about 10-15 lbs in the last 4 months . If it was pancreatic cancer would i be hearing these noises or would it just be pain . Also my lower back hurts when i bend over sort of like a muscle pull. Does anyone know someone who had/has pancreatic cancer that can explain the type of pain i may be feeling?

This question is just of personal interest to me. At age 24, I was diagnosed with cancer (Hodgkin's Disease) and I just found out over Christmas that I've relapsed. I lost my hair during chemotherapy but almost always wore hats and hair pieces. Many people didn't know I was sick unless I told them. After my stem cell/bone marrow transplant I looked sickly for awhile but recovered quickly.

I've been in many situation where people were really nice and friendly, talkative until we got to the subject of my illness. Suddenly, they were uncomfortable. Which I can understand.

People in my family often treat me like I can't do things on my own (physically) and it irritates me, because I don't FEEL sick. I'm confident that I can beat it again and live a healthy life (I'm only 25!)

Is it just that non-sick people have pity for us? Do they just not know HOW to react? I try to hide it from people so I don't make THEM uncomfortable. lol

IM 15 and im scared i have throat cancer! I have never smoked nor drank. Every morning when i wake up, my throat hurts. My neck was hurting and my lymph nodes were swollen.

I've had a cold for a month. Ive taken penicillen V for my sore throat. It did not seem to help. I have had my tonsils removed when i was a child.

I did have a lymphnode biopsy in my neck when i was 11. The lymphnode was enlarged and proved to be nothing serious.

I am quite worried and i would appreciate it if i got the best information possible. Much thanks.

Okay I am 26 years old, a certified medical assistant and I am still freaking myself out, although I calm others about it! So I found a lump in 2003 that they removed and became a fibroabnoma. Then in June of 2006 I found another. All in the same breast. Okay that one became a fibroabnoma too, but they only needle biopsied. So tonight, I found another one. In the left breast this time. I am sick of being so cysty. What can I do? My mother had breast cancer at 45 and she is in remission right now. So I know at some point I will get it, but I am only 26 and I know it isn't unheard of. What can I do to make sure that I don't get more? I am a B cup with not much there and what is there, is all fibroabnomas. How frustrating!

This is the findings on my ct scan. Does it sound bad?

FINDINGS-

The airways are normal. There are two small pulmonary nodules measuring 3 mm in the right lower lobe on image #30 and 6 mm in the middle lobe on image #32.

Mediastinal windows demonstrate significant bilateral, hilar, and mediastinal adenopathy. Small lymph nodes are also noted adjacent to the left carotid artery in the superior mediastinum and in the supraclavicular fossa bilaterally.

There are also small gastrohepatic ligament and celiac axis lymph nodes with portocaval, mesenteric, and periaortic tiny lymph nodes as well.

There are no lytic or blastic bone lesions.

IMPRESSION-

Given the widespread nature of the lymph nodes, lymphoma is of primary consideration though sarcoidosis is possible though considered much less likely.
