Probally about 3 days ago i noticed a bump growing underneath my breast, it hurts a bit, and it's underneath the skin. I think it might just be a pimple but it also feels much bigger then a pimple, and it's not coming to a head. I was wondering how long i should wait before I get it checked by a doctor, I have no health insurance till January 22nd, can it wait till then?.. Or do i even have to get it checked?
I'm a 20 year old female

Someone I know has mouth cancer and is starting chemo for it in a few days. But the cancer is actually ON the tonsil. Wouldn;t it be easier just to perform a tonsillectomy?

This has been bothering me for years and its taken me years to even admit this and online, anonymously, is really the only place I feel I can talk about it. There was a girl about 4 years ago who was the daughter of one of the teachers in the high school (i was in jr high at the time) she had late stage leukemia, where it couldn't be fixed with anything but a bone marrow transplant and they were having people tested for a match. Anyway at some point during this I saw something about a treatment called chinese bone marrow cleansing but I never mentioned it. they eventually found a match and she had surgery so I figured they wouldn't need to know because that was a better treatment so I never said anything. She died after the surgery of an infection. And for years I've been dealing with "what if" I told them about it. I'm not even positive it's for leukemia, but it's tortured me for years. And part of me figures that they had explored every option because it was so late stage but theres always a part of me that blames myself. Please be honest, you don't know how much I want to put this behind me

I'm just wondering? Because this guy that works for my dad said that his dad has cancer and its gotten bad which we believe cuz you can't really play around wit that. But this dude has made up some bull sh*t story that his dad had a heart while in the hopital. he wasn't even crying or conserned about that. All because his car got towed or whatever and he can't get it out of the pound and he can't ask his dad for money and he asked my dad for money and a advance on his cheque before my dad went on vaction. But now my dad is gone and he keep on bugging the person whos in charge and he told him no because my father is not there and has to follow what my dad says. Do you think this is a bull **** story or do you think its possible for someone to have a heart attack with cancer?

My father who lives in another state just emailed everybody that he has a tumor in the kidney. He will have cat scan to see if it has spread tomorrow. He only wants emails because he has severe pains from polymyalgia. I'm always at a loss for words, so what can I or should I say? We've always been on good terms. Thanks.

What happens as you die with a brain tumor? What happens when you die?

My mother found herself with colon cancer a year and a half ago. Early detection is way to prevent any hardship for your family. If you have had blood in your stool, please schedule a colonoscopy.

The bottom of my front teeth is discolored. Ive been told thats because of stomache acid. Also it hurts when I swallow. Someone told me that I may have esophagul cancer ? My auntie (by marriage) was told she had a brain tumour 2 weeks ago after suffering blackouts & fits. She has been home for christmas and told to go back in 3 weeks for more tests/biopsies. Everybody is looking on the black side, even planning a trip to disneyland as they don't know how long she has left. Are all tumours cancerous or can you get non-cancerous ones?? I am really worried for her as my auntie on my mum's side was diagnosed with a tumour and died within a year. She left 2 young children and now my other auntie also has 3 young children and all thinking of what happened last time.

My father is 76 yrs old & was diagnosed w/ rectal cancer last August/06. A bit of history----I am now 50 & all of my life we have been like the very best of friends. I stayed by his side almost nonstop for 1st 6 wks after his diagnosis, then went home. He has completed his radiation therapy, and continues w/ oral chemo drug Xeloda. My biggest problem is that as time goes on, he has gotten meaner and meaner. He says that is what he must do to try to survive his cancer.

Unfortunately, he has begun drinking beer a lot recently (he quit the moment he 1st got his diagnosis). Also, last night we had a huge blow up as he states he does not deal well with emotions (VERY TRUE), & I was trying to recover from withdrawing from elavil which made me super sensitive &emotional. What do I do? He has not called to apologize today & I do not feel it is my responsibility to call him after the VERY CRUEL things he said to me. What do I do ??? PLEASE, I am DESPERATE !!

This is a wierd place to go to find out but:

My good friend approached me about this today. He says that here lately he has noticed that one has been acheing a little for about a week. He also said that it's a little oddly shaped. He is only 23. Has anyone ever had it or knows anyone with it. The reason that he doesn't go straight to the Dr. is because we live in a counrty that doesn't have the best of medical care. I laughingly agreed when he brought that up because you don't want to loose one and not need too. What's up?
