yes it can. My friend has brain cancer and smokes pot for part of her treatments and I have to usually step out of the room when she does this.

Oh, jeeez, not again. All of the above answers are wrong.
There is scientific research on the subject. The only way you will test positive from secondhand marijuana smoke is if the smoke in the room was so thick that you had to wear goggles to stay in the room. Those are the actual lab results.
You can find a ton of information on marijuana at http://druglibrary.org/schaffer

you know what, it can, but if you dont smoke regularly or you dont smoke at all then just drink plenty of water the night before and the same morning of your test and just go to the bathroom, flush your system out and i mean pee at leat 4 or 5 times before you go in for your test and you should be in good shape, i just cant say for sure that you'll pass but you have a better chance of passing

Without a doubt Jose !!!
Have a lady friend who does not smoke at all---has a husband who does---she just lost her very high paying job this past year for failing blood tests in random testing at her job twice in one year----so-----clear the air around you my friend or start expecting the axe to fall sooner or later on you !!

yes, it can. It really depends on the amount you've inhaled, but regular contact with just the second hand smoke can screw up a drug test

Yes, that's a typical excuse when a positive test shows up. "I didn't smoke anything, but there was some at a party the other night."

If second hand cigarette smoke gets in your lungs and can cause health problems then pot smoke can enter your lungs secondhanded too.
