My dad passed last July from bladder cancer.
My siblings and I wrote down some of our most hilarious childhood memories of our father...like, no one else's dad went around the neighborhood, saying to every kid, 'Pull my finger!'
We chose our favorites, and my brother-in-law (who adored my dad) read them. I don't recommend you read them yourself. The day can be so over-whelming and stressful, you might forget part of it, or rush through it; and in the aftermath, you'll feel bad that it wasn't what you had intended.
Let someone close read it, as if they were you, and it will be fine.
Good Luck & God Bless!

Sorry to hear this - I know how it feels - my world really changed when my dad died. Don't worry too much about making a polished speech. You could just make a list of the things that make you smile when you think of your dad - that would be a good way to remember him.
If you want to do some searches used words like: eulogy, poem. quote.

My uncle basically died of small cellular lung maximum cancers the day gone by. :'( basically be on the instant up with the jar, human beings will donate. on the jar you will desire to write your father's call and what it somewhat is for. human beings won't think of you're begging, i'm specific they have long handed by a time in existence while they have had a kinfolk member die. i will guess that your loved ones could take exhilaration in it if human beings even donated some money, as a results of fact ever little bit facilitates.
