whatever it is, you need to get it checked out fast! I dont know if you have recently had a child, or if you are pregnant, but if you are saying that something in your breast is hard and sore... you really need to make an appointment with your gynecologist. It could always be cancer, but you wont know until you find out. We all have scary things, just be brave and go get it checked out before it could get worse.

That is nothing anyone here can answer. You need to see a doc. They will prob. biopsy the lump and find out what it is. Depends a lot on you age and family and personal history. For your sake I hope its not cancer. But most breast cancer is easy to treat if caught soon enough they can just cut it out. Good Luck and call your doc asap!

Common sence must prevail mand you oughta get it checked out hon. It may just be a duct that is blocked behind the areola. Usualy, cancer is not painful in this area. But everyone is different. get checked out, have a safe new year ok.

I know sometime we want to save money or time....or whatever the reason is... this is just a tip that there is some clinic check up for free in your local area...like I found 1 for my girl friend a couple months ago... most of the hospital nurse can help you...just stop by any hospital and act like you are patient family member and ask them just for information.

Go to your doctor...but most likely they will have you monitor this lump for a while (unless you already have been) because it's normal to feel things in your breasts during certain times in the month...that is why they say to do your breast exams after your period.

The only way to find out is to see your doc and get it checked out. Breast lumps are not something to leave unchecked as anyone of any age can get cancer. See your doc to find out what it is.

Could be a fibrous cyst or could be a malignant tumor. Go get a mammogram done to find out what it is. Don't ignore it because we don't want you to become another statistic of breast cancer deaths.
