that makes them allergic to cats. I'm wanting to know why it skipped me? Why don't I share that gene w/ my sisters and they are allergic to cats and I'm not? I was allergic to my grandparents cat when I was 13 but that lasted for like a day or 2.

Is there anything to take to help the swelling in my body when I eat something with corn in it - I try to avoid all corn products but when i do consume something it takes sometimes a week before the swelling goes down. And in order for it to go down I usually have to fast the whole week and drink much water and try to sweat ie. workout. Help?

I do not have asthma, firstly.

I am just curious if I have bad allergies or if it's something more serious, like bronchitis (which I had a month ago and, yes, I took all of the anti-biotics the doctor prescribed).

My symptoms include very frequent cough, not suppressible by medicine, tip nose is in chill-like pain, runny nose, constant sniffling, fever (controllable with Tylenol), and headaches when I first get up for about 1-2 hours.

I first started coughing 5-10 times a day 4 days ago, then it picked up. Only until yesterday did it really, really become a problem.

I'm 14 and my allergies have never been a problem until now, assuming this is what it is. I was born in July, which according to some websites should be my worst allergy month.

Thanks for all suggestions/answers in advanced. I do plan to see a doctor, but depending on the apparent severity will decide how soon I go.

About 6 months ago I ate some of that bad peanut butter and got very sick. I thought I got over it completely, but now whenever I try to enjoy roasted peanuts or a snack sized snickers candy, I find myself getting dizzy and vomitting as well as rashing.

Could this be a newly developed minor allergy?

I'm done with peanuts forever now, even though I love them. If it is not an allergy, it must just be flashbacks from that food sickness.

My son had that nasty stomach virus two weeks ago and vomitted (projectile) for a week. I took him to the ER and the doc thought it was just him coughing up mucous but it stopped and then again started this morning and on to tonight. I took him to the ER and the doc again said it could be a virus or a severe allergic reaction but he can't keep anything down and is sneezing, watery eyes and itchy nose. I think something is seriously wrong just want your opinion

i really dont know why..usually its just my right hand, and i get it really bad if im outside walking for a long time in hot weather..it doesn't really hurt, it just feels funny..and you can tell by just looking at them that they're swelled..(my friend calls me sausage fingers. haha..) does anyone know why?!

I have body aches (flue/ fever like aches) all over. 2 of my internal medical doctor told me nothing wrong. But one said I have seasonal allergy, so gave me Flonaise, and Dingulair, later added Allegra-D. Been on it for 3 month. Indeed, I suffer from a seasonal allergy every Spring, but has never been on this much meds, besides this year got sinus infection. I was on ZPack for 10 days (Antibiotic). That was all in the first week of March. Body aches are not symptom of allergy, its a viro from what I understand, But last week, my 2nd opinion doctor (board Certified Internal MD) told me nothing is wrong with me. Well, something is wrong with me~! I have aches, has no energy, light headed, belly feels like got virus. No fever, nothing.

I get a flare up every April. This lasts until August. It ruins my summer. Five months of itchy, inflamed skin, particularly on the hands, nose and forehead! I used to see my G.P. every year and she would prescribe hydrocortisone, aqueous cream every year. These provide temporary relief, but doesn't actually get rid of the problem.

I take antihistamines, but it doesn't clear the eczema. I was going to go on a blind date this week, but had to cancel as the eczema is too severe, my hands and fingers have swollen up, my ear lobes are bleeding etc. This is taking over my life, it makes me feel low!

Does anyone out there know of any alternative treatments that have worked? I would be most grateful for any help with this.

Why is that when I eat a seafood, my through feels weird? Is that I'm allergic to seafood? I haven't eat seafood ever since I got it. I still get it even with just a bite of it. Before, I never had this but ever since I got it, I have no love of eating seafood.

I can't figure out whether I am allergic to honey. I don't have any swelling of lips or any rashes due to it, however I get an instant head ache just from the smell of honey. I feel nauseous immediately. This morning I had some honey just to try it and now (about 2 hours or so later) i have a major head ache and feel pretty weak. Am i allergic to it? what is going on??

I have a lot of allergies and getting allergy shots for almost a year now. The shots I have for grasses and trees are making me really sick and the nurse doesn't wanna give them to me anymore. This is the second time that I've tried them and both times made me sick . It's making me angry cuz I'm spending money for this stuff and I can't use it. I think that cuz they are giving me what I am allergic too, that I should be feeling something ? Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do about it or is there anything I can do? Does anyone know of a web site that I could get pollen and mold counts from July '03? My friend is going to the doctor tommorrow and he is having the simular symptoms he had back in '03 and would like to compare the pollen and mold count to today. i have allergies due to the pollen. they just get worse and worse! i take benadryl at night and i take clariten during the day. is there a med. that a docter can perscribe or is there anything better than benedryl or clariten?

I have posion ivy. I got it over the weekend. My freinds thnik they can get it from me. I already took a shower since then and washed all my clothes that i wore that day. So can they get it or not? I say you cant but i could be wrong. Could they get it wen it ozzes?
