I have a lot of allergies and getting allergy shots for almost a year now. The shots I have for grasses and trees are making me really sick and the nurse doesn't wanna give them to me anymore. This is the second time that I've tried them and both times made me sick . It's making me angry cuz I'm spending money for this stuff and I can't use it. I think that cuz they are giving me what I am allergic too, that I should be feeling something ? Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do about it or is there anything I can do? I don't want to spend more money on this stuff. I've spent $518 on serum already in just a year

If the shots are making you sick, they are too strong and they need to increase the dosage more slowly. I had allergy shots also. It took over 5 years just to get up to maintainence dosage. For me, it took two years for the shots to start helping me and five years to get the maximum benefit.

That really stinks that you are spending all this money for allergy shots. I have terrible grass and tree allergies too. What I do is take Claritin everyday and stay away from the grass and the trees... it is almost impossible. I don't take allergy shots and I just avoid my allergies. Believe me, there are times were I wish I did not have allergies but here's a story you might get a laugh out of. Everytime in school when we would have a fire drill, we would go outside and I would get allergic to like everything outside. I would start sneezing and then I would have hard trouble breathing. A teacher on a golf cart would have to come get me and they would take me to the nurse. Once I even had to go to the hospital. I would really stop taking the shots and really just stay away from the grass and trees. That's is what I do. Seriously, don't waste your money on something that doesn't work. Take medications that will prevent your allergies Hope everything works out for you.

I had horrible allergies for a long time. I've tried everything, I did refuse the shots, however. What helped me, and I'm sure will help you too is the Body Ecology way of life. It helps restore friendly microflora to your body so that you can strengthen your immune system and lower your body's inflammatory response. It was a lifesaver for me, and it has saved me a lot of money on medical bills.

Take care

The point of allergy shots is to give you tiny doses of things to which you are allergic to desensitize you to them.
If you are having reactions that are making you sick you may be getting doses that are too strong or perhaps allergy shots won't work for you.
They did help me
