I have had this for the past few days and its buggin me-I have had an awful sore throat that comes and goes(do ya know what i mean? sometimes its really bad and sometimes i barely notice it), headaches, ichy throat and mouth(really itchy), a bad productive cough, and weirdest of all some dark red dots on the roof of my mouth. Sometimes I lose my voice for a while.
I feel GREAT-otherwise-I have energy and I am happy its just a wierd inconvincence. I don't "feel" sick I just have these symtoms.
Any ideas what this is?
I want to still dance(likr i said I feel fine) but I sound like I am @ death's door rasping-advice please!
Its getting on my nerves and getting worse.

I had a severe allergy on Thursday and ended up in A&E with Steroids and Piriton being injected. I think it was due to the Strawberries I had just eaten, but after doing a bit of research online, I have also seen that Ibuprofen can cause similar symptoms. I took 2 Ibuprofen a couple of hours before for my shoulder pain. To the best of my knowledge, I have no other allergies except for Tree Pollen Hayfever in the Spring, and my research shows that there can be a link. Can anybody give me anymore information/good website so that I can continue researching.

I am visiting my doctor on Monday to discuss with her but I would like to have as much info as possible beforehand.

I love strawberries!!!! Ibuprofen I can always do without.

I have found lately if I eat wheat bread products I also get a sore throat, itchy skin and then the nausea, bad stomache with back ache, vomiting, etc that I get with all bread products, pastas. I've just lived with it because the doctor just said I was constipated and there was nothing she could do for me (even though I had told her I had just gone to the bathroom!). Can anyone give me some ideas because giving up ALL carbs is really, really hard.

I am allergic to all sour foods, foods containing vitamin 'C', all fruits rich in vitamin 'C' (all most all of them are). If i eat spicy or hot food i suffer with acidity which again is sour. This allergy causes profuse sneezing, running nose and watery eyes. Continuous sneezing leads to laryngitis : and I am a singer!!!!
life is tough. I can only eat a few things. The worst part is being ridiculed by people who ask "don't you eat even......? that's strange!" Any suggestions, remedies, help?

I'm allergic to all seafood (except shrimp, crabs or canned tuna!), apples, pears, all melons and walnuts. I used to be allergic to wheat. Boy, was THAT tough! What are your allergies?

1991 was diagnosed as allergic to MERCAPTO MIX. Soo.. all rubber products, latex, waxes, various oils and so on. It makes wearing shoes a total nightmare because of the rubber-based glue they use. I get severe contact dermatitus.
Am also allergic to all nuts and apples.
HAS ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE GOT THE MERCAPTO MIX/RUBBER ALLERGY?? How do you get by with shoes, and what substitute is there for cortizone - as I have been using it on and off now for 15 years!!!

I went to an allergy specialist yesterday and got skin tested. Results indicate that I'm severely allergic to Pollen, Dust, and some types of grass/plants and mildly allergic to a lot of other things. I never thought it was THAT serious. I have had breakouts where my nose runs all day long, constant sneezing and irritation/swelling in my eyes. It seems to happen 1-3 times per week. Anyway, the specialist told me I was one of the more severe cases he deals with.

I would just go ahead with the shots, but they are really expensive. $1300 one time fee (my insurance deductible is $1500). Then about $25 per visit. He said I need 3 shots each visit and 2 times a week for about 3 months, then move down to once a week. That's gonna cost me an extra $200/month! Not to mention the $1500 deductible I have to take care of. And he said it will have to be done for about 4 years!

This is a fairly large financial committment for me and I just need to know if they are really going to help me.

I have allergies and take daily meds, we had a leak at my office, and now everyday after about an hour I get a headache. noone else can smell the musty smell of the mold but me, at home I do not have a headache so it has to be mold.

my question is how long after mold exposure would symptoms be noticed?
