I have had hives on and off for 5 years now. I've done all of the allergy testing that anyone can think of and....nothing. Now when I get a bad case that doesn't calm down w/ Benadryl and RX Atarax my Dr. puts me on a taper of steroids. I also use an herb called Milk Thistle, you get it in a tincture and add it to a small amount of HOT water. Find an herbalist in your area. That has worked the best for me.

25% of the population gets hives at least once during their lives...so you're in good company! Antihistamines do work to relieve both the hives and the itch....but of course if you want a longer duration of action until this episodes runs its course, use a 12-24 hour drug instead of Benadryl's 4-6 hours (such as Claritin or generic loratidine, or Tavist-clemastine).
GOOD LUCK..if it goes on for at least 6 weeks (not likely but does occur!), then it's classified as CHRONIC hives and you ought to see an Allergist! (like me!).

you have a touch hypersensitive reaction to chromium. Chromium is utilized in leather-based. placed some cortisone cream on your legs and don't take any warm showers for some days till it clears. I advise you pass to a dermatologist or allergist that does patch finding out for chromium. possibly you will desire to get an antibiotic cortisone cream out of your surgeon in case its no longer the leather-based, however the germs interior the boot.

I have found that if you soak for 30 minutes in a oatmeal bath, it will relieve them enough that they start to go away. Aveeno sells a great one, if that doesn't work then go to your family doctor.
