I bought a store brand generic Clover Honey and my tongue was burning worse and worser. Threw out the Clover Honey.

I am allergice to alcohol, seeds/nuts, dairy foods. Not seafood yet! Used to have a epi-pen, never needed to use them. Avoidance is the best policy.

I am allergic to honey, but I think it may be classified as a food intolerance. I have to read labels. Here in the U.S. a lot of breads and cereals contain honey.

Not that it's worth testing, but you are probably allergic to the plant the honey came from. Good luck and I see you are prepared - good move.
