I can really relate baby girl. I am so sorry you are suffering. I too have suffered all of my life with eczema. I am allergic to just about everything under the sun.. foods and other irritants/allergens. I itch often.. and its hard finding a good moisturizing lotion/cream that soothes the itching. Even if it is hypo-allergenic it still does not stop the itching. I cry sometimes because I can't sleep from the scratching. I have gone to the dermatologist and he prescribed this ointment called..clobetasol propionate usp,0.05% and it cleared up the same darks spots or sores you are talking about. Please stop scratching or you will end up like me with black spots all over your body from the scarring. Please visit a dermatologist as soon as possible they can help you. Again I sympathize with you.God bless!

My son has had eczema & snap dermititis since he was 2 weeks old, he is now 11yrs. The creams the doctors gave you will sting at first, but once you continue to use them it will stop. Eczema is a result of an immunity disorder, and generally comes from the parents of the child. If the parents were asthmatic, or had allergies, you got the eczema from it. My son also has asthma, they usually run together, so you may need to go see the dr and make sure you do not have any sinus, or respiratory infection, because that can trigger your eczema. When my son gets a sinus or respiratory infection, his eczema goes nuts. I also make him take oatmeal baths, and he uses AVEENO oatmeal soap, it does help.

You are always going to have sensitive skin, make sure your detergents are not the cause, also make sure you wash any new clothes before wearing them.

Make your parents take you back to the dr and ask for some answers, there are pills now that you can take, or newer creams.

Good luck, I know it hurts and itches, my son has the same problems.

Put baking soda in your bath water...about 1/4 cup. This will help balance the pH of the water and soften it so it's not so drying. If you take showers, do not take a hot one..warm at best. Also, do NOT use bar soap! It's the worst thing you can do for eczema. I use Bath & Body Works body wash and body lotion & it helps keep my eczema under control. Always use lotion after your baths & showers. As far as those little blisters on your fingers that end up peeling & cracking...I haven't found anything for that as of yet...I hate those! I try putting an antibiotic ointment like Neosporin on those and cover them with band aids overnight. Sometimes it takes a few nights to heal, but it does work...at least it heals the cracking...the peeling & the blisters are still there. I know how awful this is for you...I go thru it a LOT, especially in the summer.

My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

Best Eczema Treatment?

Try taking an oatmeal bath. Use 1 scoop of oatmeal to 1/2 gallon of water. This can calm the itching. Then use cetaphil lotion and bath cleanser it help with the itch and flare ups. Take a teaspoon of benadyl as well this can help. Use a combination of all these thing. I did it with my 4 year old daughter who has Eczema and it cleared her right up. You just have to keep up on it or it will flare again. It is a lot of work and takes dedication.

My 18-month-old daughter suffers from eczema too. I just bought her a series of products at the fair with mink oil in it. The website on the bottle says "www.touchofmink.com." I was afraid I was getting scammed and would waste my money but I was willing to try anything because my daughter gets bumps all over, even on her face, and people think something is wrong with her. She's always scratching. The good news, is the stuff worked. I would recommend the soap and the pure mink oil because my daughter looks great, less itching and no one asking what happened to her arms. Good luck!

Go see a dermatologist. Eczema has various causes, and you may not be getting the right cream. A dermatologist specializes in skin maladies, and can prescribe the right cream or ointment for you. I have eczema of the fungal variety, and I use Nizoral (ketoconazole) cream. It helps.

Have your Mom go to Wal-Mart and get several gallon jugs of Apple Cider Vinegar $3.00 a jug. Take a long soaking bath with about half a jug. Pat dry then with a wash cloth wash your body everywhere with pure out of the bottle no water vinegar. Let air dry do not dry with cloth. The smell fades after it dries. It can not harm you at all any where it will heal almost everything in fact its good for your whole body and makes the skin softer than any moisturizers. Do the pure wash several times a day everyday. You will see a difference and no itching.

Yes, first stop scratching.
Second, this is what you are going to do, the problem is with Ezcema and Urticaria , remember we do not only breath for the nose, but also from the skin pores and your skin get lot of contamination and then you get that trouble.
The air of your enviroment try to always not have it too cold or too hot, that will make your skin be stable avoiding the cracks. Also if you get a vaporizer with some vapor liquid when is too cold your skin will keep also the balance. You need some chocolate or some sweets , to make your body produce more energy to heal itself fast and also can prevent those a bit. And keep your body alkaline is the most important for your life. It is proven scientifically that allergies and cancer depends on an acidic PH.
You need to avoid lot of sodium and preserved frozen food, acidic foods and take a lot of berries , because you need to keep your body with the perfect level of oxygen and alkalinity ( i do not know the exact word ) at the same time. Try a lot of blueberries juice. Special salt in a little warm water for your fingers work.
Also you need to enforce Complex B vitamins to help your muscles and skin.
Soap, only ph neutral, always try to stay in neutral temperature, inclo=uding the water your skin touches. The red spots, never scratch them, you will mess your skin and is worst.
Well , works, believe me. And never feel bad about it, usually we hate that happen, but you cannot prevent it, you have to learn to live it it. when you are 34 like I am now , in 20 years you will laugh about it... by the way take care with your head. Do not use so many hats or caps or so, because your skin in the head will get to hot and burn and you will have like lot of pieces of dead skin in your hair and that is annoying.

My sister and I also suffer from eczema. There is no cure for it, you just have to wait for it to go away. Your's will be going away soon, because when you become a teen your skin naturally gets oily because your body is growing up and working hard, so you just have to have patience. Also, do not scratch at all! There are creams such as elidel (Dosn't work for me, so don't use this one probably), and steroid cream. I use steroid cream and it works wonders for me.
