No symptoms now; stress test 2 years ago was normal. Should we question going straight for angiogram which has more risks--shouldn't we try a less invasive test like MRI or CT scan first?

After returning from a workout, I found this really tough cyst at the wrist area, right where the hand's joint is. It doesn't hurt or anything, but there's just that bump (feels like a poking bone). The doctor told me not to do anything and that it might go away or it might not. The fact that it's there annoys me...What do you think? (popping isn't an option, it's deep underneath the skin).

For the past few days i have had a sinus infection which made part of my upper lip infected and my mom is sure we got most of the stuff out! My mom said that it was a bad sinus infection! Is it possible that the infection made the nerves in my upper lip so agitated, that my upper lip will stay swollen for a few more days?

I was in a restraunt just now and the place caught on fire. Now I can barely breathe and it's making me dizzy. Should I go to the doctor, or is there something easier I can do? What is this called, so if I do go to the doctor I can tell him what I have?

my mom has these tiny little lumps/pimples on her hands and feet. I think they are only on the hands and feet and no where else. they are very small, maybe a half or quarter the size of an acne pimple and they are described to be very irritating and itchy. She is not experiencing any flue like symptoms: headache, fever, fatigue, etc. I thought it might be chicken pox, but the pimples are not everywhere and there's no fever. Can you tell me anything about it? what is it?

Can you overdose on Pepsi? I don't mean a lethal one, but...
The only thing I can think of having done is drinking too much soda.
I've been sick for several days with the following:
fever (99.6 to 101.4)
exhaustion
stomach cramps
muscle aches (mostly in the legs)

I have polycistic ovarian syndrome (which has something to do with sugar levels in the blood?) and I'm on... zonisimide ... for it.

Other than that, I can't figure out what it could be. It isn't the flu...

I've been drinking large amounts of water and trying to eat things like eggs and toast.
I'm realllly miserable here.

My cousin living in lucknow has been suffering from paralytic polio
since
she was 2 yrs old. She is now 19years of age. About a fortnight ago,
she
has been suffering from severe cold and congestion of sputem on the
lungs.
She is complaining of rigorous pain in the whole body, due to which she is unable to move, eat, drink or perform any other activities. Our family doctor have not recommended any medicine for her condition. He said that there is no known medicine for her illness, rather he has recommended a few homeopathic pills to reduce fever but the medicine has not been able to decrease the high temperature. We have tried several paracetamols but nothing seems to work.

A detailed MRI was also performed on her body few days ago, which showed that her right side of the body is completely under paralysis. I would like to know whether this illness is really incurable or are there any tablets (allopathic) that can be prescribed for her.

I was prescribed Metformin for my hypoglycemia because they said I am "insulin resistant". I took 250 mgs at 5:00 pm yesterday and then ate dinner like instructed. I am now living like a humming bird where I have to have sugar every two hours because I am crashing.

I have been up all night because when I get low, I get an adrenaline surge. I have eaten a small PB sandwich every three hours and my stomach is full. I can't eat much more but I still keep crashing.

How long does it take to get out of your system?

Any suggestions?
