Hello, I hope you have the time to give me some suggestions/comments when it comes to my lab results. I was tested earlier this morning. I won't be back to the doctor's office until next week. For now, I hope you can give your suggestions that I can follow for the following days.

URINALYSIS
Sugar: Negative
Albumin: Trace
Pus: 0-2/HPF

BLOOD CHEM (expressed in mmol/l)
Glucose: 4.53 (normal: 3.89-5.84)
Creatinine: 77.37 (normal: M:57-92)
Cholesterol: 4.53 (normal:3.9-6.18)
Triglycerides: 1.16 (normal: 0.45-1.86)
HDL: .90 (M: 1.04-1.3)
LDL: 3.10 (0-4.0)

Guys, I'm worried about the traces of albumin in urine (yeah, I do love to eat meat) and my HDL (it's low. what do you mean by that?). What can you I do to make me normalize the results next time? Like I said, my next appointment is still next week. I'm still 17. years old. Thank you all!

After researching stem cell treatments for congestive heart failure, I finally found the one medical facility that performs fetal stem cell therepy without general anesthesia, which would be too dangerous for her. The only catch is that she would have to fly to the Dominican Repubic to get it. It would be a couple hours to get to Florida, and a couple more on the next flight to the Dominican Republic, and then the treatment facility is only 10 minutes away by cab. She's 73 and has had this disease for around 6 years. She can still go to the store, out to dinner, or other short excursions, but anything longer or more strenous requires a wheelchair, so she doesnt get out much. This is the best chance we've found to give her her life back, and I would hate to see it go down the drain just because of the flight.

Hi everyone, in the last few months I have had small fluid filled blisters appearing on the palms of my hands and sides of my fingers. At first I thought it could be washing up liquid causing them but after wearing rubber gloves constantly I still have them in fact there are more of them.
I am wondering if anyone here can firstly recommend a good cream to help this condition and second if anyone knows if there are protective gloves available that are rubber free??? I need heavy duty gloves because I do a lot of washing up with hot water.
Thanks to any one who answers.

This will prbably sound stupid but... if my partner and I had unprotected sex sevral times, on the better side of 10 times, not including oral before I found out there is a slim chance of him having an STD, what are the chances of me getting it? 1. the chance of him having one is very slim, but its still there and that concerns me 2. I plan to get tested and ask the nurse this same question, but he is refusing insisting he doesnt have one cuz the girl didnt have 1 (no he didnt cheat, we were sperated and I was tested before we were back together so I know if I have one now its form him) and 3. he is having problems getting and maintaining an erection and sex just isnt the same, I dont kno if it is pyhcological (that girl called him small down there, but hes not) mabey the fact he knew I fooled around with some1 else

I've had this red rash all over my wrist for about a month now. When I saw a doctor the first time, she told me it was because of the bracelet I was wearing so I stopped wearing it. Even though i don't wear it anymore, the rash is still there. We've already ruled out eczema.

I haven't used anything new (detergents, lotions, etc...).
I haven't worn anything on that wrist since it appeared.

I don't know what it could be? Should I see a doctor, or is just let it go away on its own?

The allergic reaction is a eczema like reaction over his trunk, arms and legs. But it's only when he drinks a cup or more. He's okay with a bit in his cereal. Any thoughts? (I am overall very familiar with food allergies as he has several. He's never tested postive for milk though)

Despite recent, improved access to antiretroviral treatment and care in many regions of the world, the AIDS epidemic claimed an estimated 3.1 million (between 2.8 and 3.6 million) lives in 2005 of which, more than half a million (570,000) were children.
