World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day, observed December 1 each year, is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection. AIDS has killed more than 25 million people, with an estimated 38.6 million people living with HIV, making it one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history. Despite recent, improved access to antiretroviral treatment and care in many regions of the world, the AIDS epidemic claimed an estimated 3.1 million (between 2.8 and 3.6 million) lives in 2005 of which, more than half a million (570,000) were children.

I am quite sure in future definitely 100% curable medicines for AIDS will be discovered.......another important thing is we should not treat HIV positive or AIDS patients as an untouchables and we should give their place in this society....

Have a great day montitude :-)

With Aids running rampid in Africa and having a foothold in the United States, chances are there will never be a day when the planet is free of Aids. The only hope is through education and it is highly unlikely that every culture on this planet can be brought to the level where everyone is aware of the disease and its fatal effects.

there are no studies or medicine that can cure aids hopefully in the future they would be able to find research and maybe the problem for not finding the cure for aids is maybe high school graduates don't have enough money to go to college so they should be a origination for that because what they say children are the future
