For the past few days i have had a sinus infection which made part of my upper lip infected and my mom is sure we got most of the stuff out! My mom said that it was a bad sinus infection! Is it possible that the infection made the nerves in my upper lip so agitated, that my upper lip will stay swollen for a few more days?

You probably irritated it. A warm cloth will usually break up a sinus infection then anti-biotic from the doctor. Breathing warm moist air from the shower helps a lot.

I have never heard of that kind of skin infection with a sinus infection. Your sinuses are inside in the upper forehead and cheek bone area. It sounds like another sort, and I would see a doctor. If pus was coming out, and you have probable nerve damage sincerely a doctor visit is in order. It could have been a cold sore, they often get tingly and swell.
