my mom has been sick in the past 4 years, first with ovarian cancer, then brain cancer last year. i can never seem to find a friend with a good enough shoulder to cry on, am i wrong to want some sympathy?!? any advice on how to explain this to my friends?

I was sick on Thanksgiving with fever, body ache, and chills. Now, two days later, i'm still a bit chilly, but my stomach hurts just a touch, and I feel slightly weak and off balance. i don't really feel like throwing up, though.

My boyfriend is sick right now, too. What do you think is wrong with me??

I really don't want to take medication for it, because of what antibiotic etc do to your body. So how can I get rid of it naturally?
The symptoms are: Peeing frequently and often with blood. Sometimes it hurts other times not really
I'm not sure whether it is the bladder or kidneys or something between.
I'm objected to man made drugs, but if I don't find something that works naturally, then of course I'll got to the doctor and get something. I'm not stupid. .So please don't give me all this stuff about getting to the doctor right away.

When i was 8 i went to the hospital because i kept going to the toilet too much to pee. I was checked up etc and i had to go back again in 6 months but we moved and the toiletting passed so we didnt bother. 5 years on, While at the hospital for that the doctor asked if i had had any previous illnesses and my mum told him about the toilet thing and he said we need to get it checked up. i went for a ct scan the other week and apparently i have an adrenal mass which has grown since i was 8. I've had 2 blood tests.. Which i am scared of.. And what can adrenal masses do to you? Can you die from them?
And how can you calm yourself down about blood tests?

Say there was blood on an object. ex: a wall or on a table or even on the sidewalk. and that blood had HIV on it and you happen to scrape your arm across that and the skin broke and you touched that blood. Is it possible to contract HIV through this? I've never had this happened to me but if i did what would i expect?

I am 19 years old. I am a hypochondriac, I suffer from OCD and an acute phobia of HIV.

I am a virgin, waiting for marriage. I have never used HIV drugs. My parents are completely healthy.

My concern today is...I just had this terrible itching on my leg and I looked and it is a tiny less than half an inch slit in my skin on the front on my thigh and it itches so so bad. I took my loufah and put some soap on it and scubbed it. however, I am worried because what if someone cut me with an HIV infected sharp object and this is HIV????

Please help!

I wasn't around anyone whom I didn't know. The only 2 people I was around are my two best friends who wouldn't do this to me.

Other than that, I don't recall anyone pricking or cutting me unless I was asleep last night...however the door was locked.

My cousin has been in the hospital for almost a week now, and he has an infection in his heart. It has spread to his brain and other parts of his body. Today, the diagnosed him with the infection being MRSA. I babysitt his daughter during the day and I also have a 2 year old son. My question is do you think that we will get it? My cousin, and his daughter have a hole in their heart, so does that make him weaker or something?

My mom is a medical technician at a hospital(duh), and has drawn blood for about twenty years now. My mom is also worried that I have diabetes type 2, and wants me to get a blood test. I keep telling her that I want her to give me a blood test, but she says she doesn't want to cause me pain. But, even if it hurt, I would rather have my mom(twenty years of experience)stick a needle in me than have some lady I didn't know that may have no experience stick a needle in me.
Plus, my mom wants me to get flu shots, and then in a few months tetanus and hepatitis so I can try out for the track team. Like in the title, I am soooo afraid of needles! What should I do about the diabetes test, and the shots?

I am a man of 39yrs, recently I have been experiencing this problem of vertigo. I visited an eye doctor who negated any ear problem. anytime I bend down, objects spin around me, when I look up right the samething happens, when am climbing any staircase samething. does this have anything to do with night work because I have been doing night work for 8yrs now or dehydration because I work in a high caloric enviroment or change of weather or too much thinking or maybe stress or drinking. I am directing this question to medical practioners please.
