Is it the flu or stomach flu?

Question

I was sick on Thanksgiving with fever, body ache, and chills. Now, two days later, i'm still a bit chilly, but my stomach hurts just a touch, and I feel slightly weak and off balance. i don't really feel like throwing up, though.

My boyfriend is sick right now, too. What do you think is wrong with me??

To the first post...Mono? How can you make that call without a test? The symptoms of mono and the flu are almost idendtical.

Are you better then you were on thanksgiving? Give it a week, and if you feel yourself not getting better see a doctor. It sounds like the Flu.

If at anytime you (or your boyfriend) start getting worse...get to a doctor ASAP.

I'd say the flu. Is anyone else ill? Someone you didn't have direct mouth contact with?

When I had food poisoning, I was dog sick, but not with body aches--just throwing up time after time after time.

When you say fever, body ache, I say flu.

I guess I should go get a flu shot, huh?

While I'm not able to give you a diagnosis online or in person (only a doctor can do that), I am suggesting flu. Just plain old influenza. There is no stomach flu, but there is viral and bacterial enterogastritis.

Norovirus is amazingly unsightly because of the vomiting and diarrhoea which accompanies the intense temperatures, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it generally basically lasts 2 days in somebody who's in any different case wholesome. lots of the different lines could be incredibly devastating - witness the demise toll in 1919 - because of the fact the pulmonary equipment is in lots of circumstances in touch.

and you show the symptoms
