Sorry about spelling, my stepmom was admitted to the hospital about 4 hours away and I wondered if she will be out soon or if I should go down and see her.....

That's pretty serious. Luckily if caught early, surgery or other interventions can be performed, and it all depends on the size, severity and type of aneurism. But generally, It can be life-threatening if not cared for quickly.

They are very serious. An aneurysm is a blood-filled "balloon" of bulging blood vessel, basically the wall of the artery weakens to the point where it cannot contain the pressure, and expands like a balloon. This is extremely serious, as if not operated on and fixed in time, it can burst and cause major bleeding, which in the aorta will cause almost immediate death. Since she is in a hopsital now they caught it in time, so she should be alright.

It's dangerous especially in the aorta (aneurysm can also occur in the brain and abdomen). If an aneurysm burst, the person wound bleed to death. Go visit.

Well that all depends on how early they were caught and if they ruptured. If they rupture the person will die. No doubt. If they are caught early, and they are in a spot where they can fix them then the prognosis is pretty good.
