My friend wants to help and donate his sperm so that i can get pregnant, were gonna do it the turkey baster way, but he has herpes and i want to know if it will affect me or more importantly the baby in any way?

I am 16 years old and i have been taking medication for my allergies since i was little. For years i got allergy shots every week but then the Doctor retired and the clinic closed up. My allergies seem to be getting worse and worse i sneeze during all four seasons of the year. Teachers have been asking me if i am allergic to them. I take Claritin every day and now even Benadrly every night because i cant get to sleep because of my sneezing. I was just wondering if there are some other good medications out their beside Benadryl and Claritin. Also when me allergies are really bad I get watery itchy eyes, my throat will feel like its getting smaller and even my ears feel like they are clogged. So i need an allergy medication that treats these to.

THIS IS KINDA GROSS(WARNING)
my ear gets really itchy a lot and when i scratch it, it starts to burn but it gets even itchier and somtimes my finger ends up with a milky white substance. a few weeks ago i pretty much went def in that eat and after a few hours, my hearing came back. and the worst part is that my ear smells....what is it?

Also if someone had a heart disease and was told they only had 6 months left to live what sort of state of health would they be in?

The rash is really red and sore just under her front paw, into her chest. She keeps chewing it and its very inflamed. Her artheritus is really bad in her back leg in the cold weather. How can i help her with that.

she has been coughing for 3 weeks so they gave her an antibiotic for bronchitis and pneumonia and it did nothing so they started her on this breathing machine for asthma! she is still coughing and now for the last 3 days she has been vomiting (projectile) no fevers...nothing just cough!! could it just be asthma or something else?

(I know I asked this last night but my question got sent to the point of no return)

Ok so I completed my three childhood shots in 2001 (six years ago).

This weekend I hit my hand (I didn't slam my hand on it, I put my hand down and it was a pinprick like feeling) on a rusty screw.

I wanted to know if at that point I had a chance of contracting tetanus because I have read everywhere that boosters should be given every five years and was confused if the booster lost its power after five years or if five years was just a target range.

(I got the new Tdap vaccine today just to be on the safe side)

By target range I mean a target range one should get the booster.

Also, they did not give me that shot which you are supposed to get in 48 hours or something. They must have not felt the need to give me it. As stated earlier I did get the booster, but not that shot.

As of right now, It has been almost five days since the initial injury (Side note: my cut is now almost compleatly healed)

How do Doctors decide which antibiotic to put you on? I have a sinus infection and the Dr. put me on Doxycycline, which is in the Tetracycline family. I have not heard of Tetracycline since the 80's. Just wondering if anyone knows the difference between different kinds of antibiotics and how a Dr. decides which one you need. Thanks.

Last year I found out that my mom smoked cigarettes the last 3 months she was pregnant with me. I was born with chronic asthma. I'm 20 now and it's just as bad as it was when I was little. I asked my mom if she thought her smoking has anything to do with my respiratory problems and she thinks it doesn't. I found this to be incredibly infuriating, as I can't even laugh hard without triggering my asthma. Any thoughts on this?

This may sound trivial but my finger nails are peeling. Badly. Nothing that people have recommended that I have tried is helping. I am using a nail product to glue the peeling down but the old nail is still peeling off and it is continuing to start "new" peels. Some of the nails have peeled half way down and are very sensitive. What is causing this and is there a medical treatment (not an OTC nail product) that can help me get it to stop? In other words I don't want to treat the symptoms, I want to stop it from happening!

this is a medical quetsion........I have really awful pains just under my right rib. Feels like ive had a big fall or something and reallhy hurt them. The area under my skin is very tender too. Like there is a big bruise there. What is odd is that my shoulder blades feel the same. Really tender to touch and generally achey. I have got a temperature and was ill the past two days. Any ideas what this could be?
