does strep throat usually come with coughing?

or was it that it comes by itself? because my throat hurts a lot but i am not coughing

If you have strep throat go to the doc. It hurts I know, been there, I usually had the full blown flu when I had that so I usually coughed but you may not. You will need meds to get over that stuff as quick as possible and not pass it on.

you can have a cough when you have strep throat, or sometimes you don't have any noticeable symptoms....either way you are highly contagious when you have strep so it would be best for you and all around you to go to the doctor and verify if it is strep or not so you don't get others sick.
