Herpes doesn't affect bodily fluids. A person can NOT get herpes from another person's blood, sperm, vaginal fluid, urine, etc. Herpes affects the SKIN and is spread by DIRECT skin to skin contact.

It is perfectly fine to use sperm donated by a man who has genital herpes or does not have genital herpes. Either way, the woman will NOT get genital herpes and the baby will NOT get genital herpes.

If a woman has sex with a man who has genital herpes then that is a different story. But, becoming pregnant with donated sperm will not spread genital herpes. Take care!

No. Herpes is NOT spread through body fluids. It is spread by direct skin contact. You'd have to conceive the old-fashioned way for there to be a herpes transmission risk.

With that said, if you are trying to conceive, it is a good idea for both you and your friend/donor to get full checkups to make sure you are both in good health. You should also seek genetic counseling to see if either of you are carriers for serious genetic defects that you might pass onto your future child.

You should also work out an agreement on how to raise the child. Put that agreement in writing so that there are no questions about how the child will be supported and who will or won't get visitation rights.

AMY: That's not how it works. The herpes simplex virus does not spread that way. It does not survive in that kind of environment.

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes (type 2) about seven years back, when I was still attending college and had a silly one-night stand. I understand a lot of young ladies will say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/vPwDQ everything got better.

Not only was I able to eradicate all remnants of the herpes virus from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating once more. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This method provided the opportunity to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

OK it is not spread through semen but he will have to jerk off and if he has blisters and they shed and get into the sperm then you may be infected.Doesn't sound safe to me?
