I need to do research on a genetic disorder, my teacher said I could do cerebral palsy, I can't find any information on which chromosome the disorder is found, if its recessive or dominant, or if its even related to genetics at all.

Okay, so I already have Bigeminal PVCs. Chest Pain everyday (sharp, little stabs). That, sadly, is normal for me. I am 20, not overweight, relatively healthy I would say.

Today however, I have a new feeling in my heart. It kind of tickles and is really irritating. I don't like it. I don't know what it is but I want it to stop. Is this something worth seeing the doctor for? I'm tired of going and hearing that everything else is too normal and I am too young to have any real problem. I would rather keep my $20 copay.

Thanks a bunch!

this may sound really stupid but if someone had something seriously wrong with them like cancer or a tumour, would it DEFINITLEY show up on a blood test? Is there any way it could be missed....like do you need a scan to tell for sure? thanks for any help

What EXCACTLY do they do??? I have an 87 year old man dying of cancer caused by aspestos, going down very very fast, his wife in her 8Os is nursing him at home. It seems that there are lots of people coming in and out, with a perscription pad and a blue file to fill in on each visit. Lots of pain control, although rather spasmodic and questionable. But no "Nursing" as such. Its his wife that helps him to the loo, washes him down twice a day, whilst he groans with pain through the morphine mist. There is a waiting list for the HOSPICE, which we have raised funds for over the years.
"Funding" has been applied for, which will be granted well after this poor chaps demise. There are zimmers brought in, bed bottles, more morphine, some tips on avoiding bed sores, but mainly, ooooodles of EMPATHY, sad looks, sighs and then they depart, leaving his wife to struggle on with her 24 hours a day NURSING. Is this the "Norm" ???

If you have HPV and then your body rids you of it and you have normal Pap Smears after, can you then use Gardasil so you wont get HPV in the future?

I've had it for a good 8 years...if not more!! It's just the one and I've tried many different treatments...Other than my doctor, what else can I do? It's pretty much dead, completely white and dead skin! Not nice! It has REALLY annoyed me because I think they are horrible.

I've heard that covering it in duck tape for ages works?

I live in Melbourne Australia. Is anyone allergic to yeast? If so, where do you buy yeast free bread? Are they available in the supermarkets?
Please note that I am not Celiac.

When I was 12 and 13 I had cancer...i'm now almost 15 and I can't forget about what I went through. I haven't gone a day since I was diagnosed without thinking about cancer and I cry almst everyday remembering bad memories. I also always worry about getting cancer again and I just don't know if i would be able to go through something like that ever again. How do I forget about cancer? I just want to live my life normal the way i used to before I was diagnosed. Please answer...thanks!

My dr. wants to monitor my QT intervals because of a medication I take for neuropathy. My QT/QTC is 358/406 ms and QTcB is 440 ms and QTcF is 411. Does any of this mean my QT intervals are bad and my medication might be causing this? I do have mitral valve prolapse but no problems with it. Also it says QRS dur is 103 ms, vent rate 90bpm, PR int 156ms, PRT axes 70 76 39, avg RR is 660 ms.

Right now i'm 21, male.. and i'm having "severe headaches on a regular basis" ...a couple years ago i would never get headaches.
I have sharp chest pains, and my jaws hurt alot, i don't know if its
a dental problem, but my mother has diabetes and had gum disease, and my father has prostate cancer and diabetes..
I typically, feel dizzy and have blurry vision no matter how much i eat, and my eye doctor told me "my vision delined too rapidly between appointments and i might want to check my blood for diabetes" ..after two regular diagnostic blood tests doctors didn't find anything wrong...

I don't know where i should go next
