a friend of mine belives they have genital warts, they are afraid to go to a doctor, what should I tell them to do? They dont want to go cause they think that it costs alot of money to get rid of them is that true? and how do i get them to go to the doctor?

I'm almost convinced that there is a cure for AIDS, but unfortunately I have no conclusive evidence. However, have you thought about if MAN can figure out a way to walk on the moon, then why haven't they figured out a cure for AIDS? Could it be possible that they have a cure, but they don't want us to know in order to make more money??

I am 22 years old and I am white. I was playing hockey and in the middle of my shift I started blacking out, I passed out half way to the bench. I am in awesome shape, but my buds say Im too skinny. I am pretty agile and hardly ever get hit. I have passed out at home too and at work. They told me I was confused, unconscious, and unresponsive. A nurse checked me out and said I had a high HR, RR, palor, but normal BP. My blood sugar was 2.0 mmol/L. The docs say this is why I passed out . . . but I was tested for diabetes and I am not diabetic (type1 or 2). ideas?????

Are wriste or the standard arm bloos pressure monitors best for at home use? If so is there a brand that is better as I have seen some for $20 at discount stores but around $100+ at drug stores. Is this something that you need a good model for to be sure its accurate?

about an hour ago I started having thin ache in my heart, and also a mild ache into my left hand and throat / jaw.. and my left hand is weak after the aches, and now 1 hour or so later the aches are gone what should I do? call for ambulance or wait till this happens
again? I need to know from a person that knows if this really is a life threatening problem or not.

I am 17 years old, I'm not overweight average hight..

I'm very worried, and she thinks it's the one on your throat where you get it cut out and can't talk, or you die from it.
More over, she's been acting bitter, crying, and a bit depressed. We're not the most functional or together family, but she's blaming us, because we are irresponsible, I'll admit it.
What bothers me most is, whenever she has an infliction (like this), and she's worried about it, she won't go see a doctor! She just gripes and complains, and cries about it! I think she'd probably get mad at me if I scheduled an appointment for her (What kind of doctor?? Radiologist?), and I"m not really sure how.
I've been praying for her, and yes, we're religious. When I was going through a rough time in life, she told me to pray and ask God for help, but now, she doesn't take he own advice. I know she prays, but when I tell her that it'll be alright, that God'll take care of her, she just sighs and says, "I don't know."
I'm really worried. Any help would be much appreciated. =(

I am almost 25 weeks pregnant but, for a couple of days I have been having spasms. they are in the center of my chest but, above my breast. I am not sure if it is heart realated. I went to the er a couple of weeks ago with severe acid reflux. ( that I had no idea was that) they did ekg, and cardiac triage. Everything with all blood work is fine. Could these spasms be heart realated. I get aniexty also, or could it be realated to the acid reflux and maybe esphagoal spasms. ??

to feel a little funny. I hate half a bowl of chicken and rice around 6 pm and then had a oreo shake at about 1030 pm. My husband had a shake as well and isn't feeling sick. All thru the night, my stomach was uncomfortable and hurt. It wasnt the gassy kind of feeling tho. My stomach has been moving...I know weird. And, this morning, my stomach was still hurting and I was a little nauseaus. Now, almost 24 hrs later, my joints and body are achy and I am EXTREMELY fatigued. Have not thrown up yet or had diarrhea, but any thought of eating makes me gag. I have a family dinner to go to in 4 hrs and was wondering if it is food poisoning or stomach flu. If it is the first, I want to try and go to the dinner.....but if i am contagious, I shouldn't go. Any help would be great!!!! Thanks!

Being HIV positive shouldn't have any bearing on his ability to teach, but parents might be concerned. And it might be disqualify him for the school's health insurance policy. Hernani believed in honesty, but what would happen to his family revealed his HIV status?

I'm not trying to be gross, I have a real question. I have a growth on my left nipple. It's right next to my real nipple, but only like maybe a half centimeter wide and as high as my regular nipple when hard. It doesn't look like a complete full extra nipple. I'll try to describe it- you know the little bumps around your nipple? It's like a bunch of those bumps grouped together but vertically, not flat, if that makes sense. Is this just a weird skin growth or a third nipple? If I want to breastfeed later will I have to have a removed? If anyone has had this, how much will it cost to have it removed? Will insurance cover it (if it DOES affect breastfeeding) or will it be considered cosmetic surgery? Thanks for all your help.

But this pain went on for years,exspecially when I moved a certain way it would be a horrible ache,that felt like I was being struck with a thick needle,recently in ( 2007) I received an x-ray for other reasons in their I SAW A BIG STAPLE left behind from removal ,and now I know where these sudden pains come from. 2 QUESTIONS....
Is their anything I can do now that it has been about 8 yrs now ?
Are their health risk associated with having a stainless steel stable left so far under the skin ?

I have a bad habit of farting in bed,i have no control over it,i've recently been sleeping over my bfs house and i keep waking myself up by farting,he hasnt mentioned it so i cant tell if he's noticed or not but when it happens i get a panic attack because i'm so embarassed. Recently I got Iritis (right eye). I was given eye drops , every 2 hrs for 4 days, 4 times a day for 4 days, 3 times, two times and then once a day. As soon as I finished it flared up again. My doctor said it could be caused by a virus, but did not do a blood check, it has now flared up again. I have started to get really depressed. How can I make it go away?
