Alright, so this is my third stye this week. And there might be another one forming as well. I was wondering why I get so many. I have been getting A LOT this year, and I don't know why. I mean, I am fourteen. I do not wear makeup at all, I was my face twice a day, and I don't put my hands near my eyes or on my face. My styes are not that bad, and usually go away in a day, but this one I have is pretty narley, and it doesn't seem like its going away any time soon. Is it just bad luck? Or do I have some eye problems?

I am afraid, they sent me all my MS medication and I am afraid if I start taking it and then they found out that I did not really have MS then the medication would hurt me in the long run. Maybe I am just hoping they will tell me I dont but I have one specialist say they dont think I have it and one that thinks I do so what should I do . Just scared

My dad has been sick with strep throat like symptoms for about 6 weeks. After he went to the doctor he eventually got a biopsy. Today the test came back positive for cancer and he is really freaked out. I was just wondering if anyone has known anyone with throat cancer, and if so how it has affected the patient. All my dad talks about is making sure the house is paid off and that he has enough life insurance. Is this normal for someone recently diagnosed with cancer? He seems so morbid about everything. My sister and I are going off to college this week and I know I'm going to have to come home a lot to do the things he has always done (mow the lawn, rake the leaves etc.). I just don't want to make him feel weak when he starts his radiation and chemo. What did you do for your loved one when they were going through treatment?
Sorry if I was rambling but it's been a long day. Just share your story of how you got through it and what you did to make them feel better?

The amount of ppl that it affects, you'd think that the ppl who run the companies would have found the cure right now. OH! and shouldn't the ppl be giving their materials for free? Like if the cancer researchers needed some sort of medicine shouldnt the ppl at the companies ( that make that kind of medicine) shouldnt they give it to the cancer researchers for FREE? or is it all about making money? what is the world coming to? If you get what i mean.

I'm 28 and I have diabetes type 2. I know I'm supposed to watch my toes and keep care of them. Well last Wednesday night, I was closing a door and it ran over my big toe. There was lots of blood but when I cleaned it and looked at it, it just seemed to have ripped part of the nail off.

I've been cleaning it and I left it uncovered (I was home for a few days, so I didn't have to worry about dirt or anything). Well today I went to clean it and it looked like there was some dried blood around the cuticle. I wiped it off and it appears that it may been a scab. Underneath it was clear, very foul smelling liquid.

My question is: if it was anywhere else, I'd put some antibacterial lotion on it and cover it with a band-aid and wait. But since it's my toe and I have diabetes, should I check I go to the doctor? Or just put the lotion on it and give it a day or two?

I was diagnosed with Raynaud's about a year ago and I have the opportunity to go snow skiing this winter. I know its dangerous being out in extreme cold. but I just want to know if anyone has found a way to enjoy extreme cold weather without experincing the symptoms of Raynaud's. Please let me know if theres anything out there that will keep my hands and feet warm enough to enjoy the snow.

I was the one who asked before how to sleep with herpes on fingers and I seem like a bit of a joker and not taking it seriously..However, I had herpes on my fingers for about 4 days now and it seriously is taking a toll on my life. I'm basically disabled on my right hand and have to learn how to do everything, including writing, with my left hand. It doesn't look like it's getting any better. School is gonna start for me in a week and a half and I don't wanna go to school with this. I just wanna ask how long it takes for this outbreak to finally heal? What it looks like when it does get better? The skin around it is so dry and the patch that is infected doesn't even feel like its part of my skin anymore...just stuck to my skin.

I would only like answers from people who have studied this and people who have actually experienced this.

I burned my leg about four days ago on the muffler of my b/fs motorcycle. it hurt but seemed fine for two days, i put aloe vera on it (straight from the plant leaf) and that helped, it immediately peeled but the next day it turned black then went back to normal then the next day it turned black again now it is red and looks infected, yellowy-pus like and slightly red and it really hurts, so i've been putting neosporin on it to keep it from being infected and taking ibuprofen and letting it get lots of air. i think its a third degree burn and my muscles ache. i can walk on it but if i stand still it hurts and the only thing that helps is if it's elevated. anyways other than neosporin and aloe vera, what else would help? my boyfriend said saltwater would help heal it a lot so i tried to look it up on the net and couldn't find an answer. anyone else there have a clue?
