The notion that a pill is going to do for you what you should be doing for yourself is pure nonsense. If you want to lose weight, the formula couldn't be simpler... Take in fewer calories than you burn. If you want more advice, I've compiled many of my findings right here: http://www.geocities.com/seabulls69/Type_II_Diabetes.html

diet pills are not the answer for anyone!! eek! why would any one want more chemicals than absolutely necessary?
Best bet for weight loss, diabetic or not, insulin or not, is just plain hard work! Get serious about some form of exercise! Belly dancing classes might be just the answer! Everyone I know who is in belly dancing has lost weight!! and they are having fun too.
If that isn't for you, try some other form of dancing! Swimming? You can do this!
then change your food plan so that you are taking in far fewer calories from empty carbs than you are burning!!!

I have had type 1 diabetes for 32 years. My Dr. has me on Meridia. It is an appetite suppresant, which helps me keep my blood sugars in a more normal range. I have been taking it for about 3 years. Here in Canada, health insurance does not cover it, and it is rather pricey ($153.00) per month. But well worth it. I have complications with insulin sensitivity, and I was able to cut back on my insulin to only 4 injections per day. It makes it easier to stick to your diet plan! Hope this info helps.

There is a diabetic medicine called Glucophage, I lost a lot of weight while using it, but I had to cut back on some of the junk to help myself. Ask your doctor about Glucophage.

you can easily lose with out weight pills if you are diabetic. its simple sounds bad. but you just cut down on what you are eating right now. if you are eating 2 of something use one. that is what you do and you will see it come off also walk briskly for 20 minutes each day you will lose inches. i am not sure how old you are if you can walk etc. but cutting down eating with yoruself is easier then using pills they are very scary and have some really bad stuff in them.
