Theres are no signs of a disease, like a fungus, but there are dark spots on the upper corners of my big toes. I heard that it could be from wearing polish too long, as i often do.

All his test results are in but the doctor refuses to give me information due to the Hepa LAW.Im so upset.I asked the nurse can you page the doctor and she goes "Were only allowed to page him if something is wrong with the patient"I said Can you call him and tell him his patient has questions. "She said sure but that doesnt mean he'll call back"I'm like WTF??? Is this how hospitals work? Where Im from the doctor and nurses can talk to the spouse. My husband even sighned the paper to release information to me. Can Anyone help me understand?----Frustrated in Florida

I have been incredibly tired for the past 6 years or so and was diagnosed with chronic Epstein Barr Virus, but was told there wasn't much I could do about it. Now I am wondering if my fatigue could be related to being hyperglycemic or even diabetic. What is the difference between hyperglycemia and diabetes, and is there one test for the both or are they tested separately? I realize a trip to my doctor is in order, I just wanted some background info from people who knew from experience. Thanks!

I went to the ER because of massive bleeding in my stool-then I went to a specialist and he said I had a large tumor in my intestines.

My symptoms have been: blood in stool, abdominal cramps, weight loss, nausea, very weak and tired

I have to have a colonoscopy next week but I was always under the assumption that only older people can get colon cancer

I am very nervous...could I have colon cancer?

I am epileptic, and have been diagnosed with Migraine headaches. For the past few weeks I have been experiencing major pain and dizziness, along with Blurred vision and even loss of vision momentarily. My arms and legs have been twitching involuntarily. I feel extremely tired and weak. I am concerned for my heath and feel like my doctor is just shrugging it off as migraine headaches.

I cannot walk in the morning or night without crutches and a cane by day. The left foot hurts, burns and feels too painful when pressure is applied and is slightly swollen around the ankle. The left calf muscle aches as well. All I have had is an EMG. neg for neuropathy which I feel questionable about it's ruling. What tests should be taken? What could this be? Soft tissue disorder?

I have been in severe pain the past week or so. I had an episode last week, were I could not sleep all night. My upper stomach and my middle back were hurting so bad I wanted to die. Nothing helped. I have a Hiatal Hernia, but the pain was different, and lower. It seemed I could not stay in the same position for more than three minutes, or the pain would increase. It eventually went away slowly.
Last night the pain returned. I woke up around 1:30 am and realized it was the same pain fron the previous week. After another sleepless night, I went to my doctor forst thing this morning. He set up an ultrasound for tomorrow and gave me a a scrip for Lortab. They seem to work for a little while, but then the pain returns.
What can I do to get me through this night? I am scared to death. I can't take another night like last night, and NOTHING seems to relieve the pain!

I have gotten a few bruises that I thought to be minor that have taken a very long time to fade away. I havent always had this problem. Is there a logical explanation for the extended period of time that my bruises are lasting?

I have self-diagnosed this, admittedly, but basically I have a persistent mild cough that disappears entirely if I leave the city for a week or so, and which gets far worse when I'm exposed to smoke/fumes, etc. What I want to know is this: am I right to not seek medical attention over this? Please only answer if you have good reason for an opinion - no knee-jerk responses, please.

I went to a HIV test and then they did not take any blood, but used an oral stick, which was to be put inside the mouth and the test will be sent to the lab, which took days to get a result.
If HIV cannot be cured at the moment would it be the best way
to invent an oral stick that detects HIV for personal use with fast result. Meaning that before sexual intercouse, the test can be done, then when have sex to use in conjucntion with condoms. That should bring the rate close to 0. People do have sex no matter what.
I think that invention ( immeduate usage)
can be done with no problems with more fundings.
Even
the detactable level is6 month, but if a person shows negative, then it means his whole life he/ she did not engage much in risky behavior. Of course it cannot be certain, but this fast result stick could combat the spread of HIV by 70% I believe and even more if negative and still using condoms. ( consider also that even condom use, the oral intercourse does not use condom

the doctor told my brother the results of his chest scan/ he worded it like this, "i am a e/r dr so i can't give you a diagnosis but i am sending these test results to your family physician" then he told my brother this," the tests showed that you have literally hundreds of pollips", what does that mean?
