Hi There
Here are some ideas to help your current health conditions. Be sure to do some cleanses, specifically a colon cleanse.
Epilepsy
Cause
Nutrient deficiencies, thyroid disorders, and stress can all contribute to epileptic seizures and must be screened for and addressed as part of a comprehensive treatment approach. Proper bowel movements two to three times a day are also important. If necessary, consider a bowel cleanse to restore healthy bowel function.
Pioneering holistic dentist Hal Huggins, D.D.S., has noted the improvement, and in some cases the complete disappearance of epilepsy symptoms after removing toxic dental amalgams. If you have such amalgams in your mouth, consider having them replaced by someone properly trained in Holistic Dentistry.

Natural Cures
Diet: Individuals affected by epilepsy should eat a low-fat, low-carbohydrate diet, and eliminate fried foods, salt, sugar, meat, milk, and alcohol. For long-term care, they should follow a hypoglycemic diet (see Hypoglycemia), being sure to avoid artificial sweeteners, excessive refined carbohydrates, and caffeine. For epilepsy accompanied by sluggish bowels or constipation, also ensure that the diet is rich with fibrous foods.
Emergency Techniques You Can Use When Someone Is Having A Seizure: Remain calm and move sharp objects away from the affected individual. Keep him or her from putting anything in the mouth, and loosen his or her clothing. If possible, put the person on the floor or bed and stay at the individual's side until the episode runs its course.
Herbs: For petit mal epilepsy, take one teaspoon of skullcap tincture three times a day.
Hydrotherapy: Hydrotherapy is the application of water, ice, steam and hot and cold temperatures to maintain and restore health. Treatments include full body immersion, steam baths, saunas, sitz baths, colonic irrigation and the application of hot and/or cold compresses. Hydrotherapy is effective for treating a wide range of conditions and can easily be used in the home as part of a self-care program. Many Naturopathic Physicians, Physical Therapists and Day Spas use Hydrotherapy as part of treatment. I suggest several at-home hydrotherapy treatments.
*Purified water is essential for any hydrotherapy treatment.
Juice Therapy: Drink a combination of celery, carrot, and lettuce juice three times a day.
Nutritional Supplementation: The following nutrients can help minimize symptoms of epilepsy: L-taurine and L-tyrosine amino acids (500 mg three times daily) along with an amino acid blend (two times daily); vitamin B complex and vitamins B3 (niacin), B5, B6 and B12; calcium; choline (start with 4 g daily and increase to 10-12 g within three months); dimethyl glycine (100 mg two times daily); magnesium; manganese; and zinc. Vitamin B complex injected intramuscularly may also be helpful.
Note: Sometimes essential fatty acids aggravate symptoms, so consult with a nutritional expert to determine if this is the case.
Best of health to you.
Cheers

uhmmmm, you are leaving out major details, what kind of epilepsy when how did it start?where's the pain? I have partial/ generalized epilepsy, not to freak you out, but mine were caused by a tumor. Has your medication changed? I'm on keppra, topamax(very good too for migraines and seizures),and lamictal.
I know when i accidentally took a double dose of topamax i had double vision for 2 weeks, it wore off though
Vision cortex is in rear of brain, sounds like you may have pressure in your brain. Get an Mri with and without contrast tell the radiologist you want to bring the scans home, that way you can bring them to a new doctor, and get a new neurologist.
Steriodpills like decadron will quickly reduce any swelling if there is something weird going on.
any neurologist would order a battery of tests, at least an eeg if your symptoms changed so drastically
Brew... Calm down Mr Costanza

Have you ever heard of a second opinion? This is more than an acceptable option, and often considered more than appropriate, if medical situation is complicated. You sound as if your not completely comfortable with your doctors analysis, I'd think you might be ready to check that option out. Perhaps you've had the same doctor for a very lengthy time, and feel uncomfortable about loyalties. You don't need to mention, to your present doctor that you are seeking a 2nd opinion. Just get it .Personally I'd be more reactive--go to hospital. If your doctor is right, you've wasted time and money, but if he's wrong.....

I am not a doctor, but it sounds like petite mal seizures. You say you are epileptic, but I don't know what kind of seizures you "normally" experience. I would certainly go for a second opinion.

It is worth having your flat and workplace checked for electrical and magnetic fields which, combined with other things like food and chemical alergies, can produce these symptoms. Look for a local practitioner working in healthy home design or a friendly electrician with the right instruments. Magnetic field should be below 1 mG and electric field should be below 3v/m. Get rid of the electric blanket and the waterbed.

I'm not sure. However, if your doctor is shrugging it off, he/she is not listening to you. And you need to find another doctor.
You know your body the best, and know when something isn't right. You need a doctor, who is willing to talk intelligently with you, work with you, talk to you, LISTEN to you, & brain storm with you.
You are your best advocate. Find another doctor who will listen to you. When you go to the doctor, always take someone with you (a friend, family meber, spouce, ect.) that way you have someone else to stick up for you, and make sure you are heard. Have you tried a doctor who specializes in Epilepsy? I think you may want to try that.
I would recomend trying www.webMD.com see if you can find some help there. Get to a doctor who doesn't blow you off. And stick up for yourself when it come to health, like I said, you know your body the best, and know when somethings not right.
Take care

Hmm. I'm not sure what it could be, but you definitely get a second opinion. I know finding a doctor you trust is a pain in the butt (lots of trial and error, trust me I know) but it'll pay off when you find someone that takes you seriously.
Don't be afraid to look into NIH studies (see Clinical Trials on their web site); if your doctor doesn't have any idea how to get you into a study contact 'em yourself. At the very least the NIH site is full of good info. Hope everything goes well with you!

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

Uh, I suggest you see a different doctor, and eye doctor, and a natural path. See what they think. This doctor you are seeing is stupid because it sounds serious. Go see someone else. When I was having bad eye problems (major migraines, blurred, etc) I saw an eye doc and found out my prescription was wrong but he also told me to see someone else because he didn't think that was all that was wrong. So I saw a ciropractor and it turned out that my neck was messed up; I had a disc that was really turned wrong and after he adjusted my neck and back I was fine.
