i get a lot of these some of them have to be operated on and packed with a dressing, this is changed each day until the hole closes from the inside .if you have one that has burst then i would just keep it clean and dry, gently clean with salt water each once a day and nature will do the rest.i am 39 and have had hundreds since the age of 16,lets hope this is a one of which is normal and nothing to worry about.best wishes

I am assuming (possibly wrongly!) that this is a mouth abscess. If it is you have got to go to your dentist asap to get it sorted. It will mean you have some fairly major problems going on in your mouth that need sorting. Use salt water (a cup of warm to hot water, with a teaspoon of salt dissolved in it) to swill around your mouth as this will help to inhibit pesky germs that you don't want and it will promote healing. Please don't put any creams or ointments of anything on it, you'll just make the situation worse.
If it is an abscess anywhere else please ignore this advice and go see you doctor instead for advice and treatment.

Anything antiseptic. Just ask the pharmacist for an antiseptic cream. If it burst cleanly - you can just put a dressing on - but if any infection left ask the doctor for an antibiotic cream.

vaseline seems to be the best - it is used for covering scars and blisters and some burns.
