boyfriend has type 1 diabetes, he's 20 was diagnosed at 3 1/2. He drinks about 1 litre (aprox) a day of diet sodas and I am worried about the effects of the aspertame. Most studies I found had the effects showing with mass amounts of soda like 4 litres and or many other aspertame products...Should I be concerned about his aspertame intake?

I'm guessing a litre but it's probably give or take each day, he drinks about.. half - a full gallon of water (another aprox) a day, and doesn't eat or drink many other aspertame products.

About the woman (Lori Hoodgewind) with a 200 pound tumour. What an incredible story of a very brave woman with an immense will to live. She had this massive tumour attatched to her body and these amazing surgeons removed it in an operation that took hours of hard work.I could not believe that anyone could come out of that and live a normal life.I think her story will give hope to a lot of people in that situation.I usually avoid watching such programmes but am glad that I did watch. Her transformation was unbelievable.

Bit of a special question. A 10yo friend of the son of my housekeeper got struck by a very rare cancer, that they say only 30 people in the world are known to have had it. The doctors are calling to hospitals around the world to see if there's an oncologist who has had a case like this and has the experience of how to deal with it.
If by any chance or huge coincidence there's a doctor on YA : here's a description of the cancer like I heard it : he's got a tumor in the brain, with a metastasis on the spine and behind his left eye ball. The cancer is not transported by the blood and does not affect organs. If anyone has an idea... (and plz, if you don't have anything serious to say, then don't say anything). Thx

Okay, so I can't remember it for anything, though I know I had learned it in psychology last year. There are some people, with a psychological disorder that have to hurt themselves and cause themselves pain to know that they still have the ability to feel. What is it? Please help me!

I'm pretty much interested in knowing what the time frame is. Does it take a week? A month? A year? Several years? Thanks ahead of time.
