Hang on though - goiters are caused by lack of iodine, and the table salt you buy in the store tends to be iodized, and one of the few sources or idoine in our diets.

So maintain some salt intake, be ensure it is iodized salt. Don't overdo it though, as too much salt is not good for the body either.

you should not eat any food products that contain spices and most dairy products should be avoided..

probably mayo ...thats not attractive......i hate it when my hubby gets mayo on his goiter....just my opinion
